Last night, Mylene dreamed that she was a worm. It’s a reoccurring dream. In the dream, she’s so happy, just wriggling around in dirt. Before these dreams started, she never gave much thought to worms, but now she longs to be one more than anything.
She sighs, pushing those thoughts to the back of her mind, she has to get to school.
Mylene smiles as she walks into the classroom, greeting her boyfriend with a hug before going to hang out with the girls.
“Well, worms-” Mylene freezes as she hears Marinette speak, but the other girl cuts off as she notices Mylene.
“Hi, Mylene!” Rose greets.
“H-Hello, what were you talking about?” Mylene asks, a tad nervous.
“Oh, it was nothing!” Alix exclaims before moving on, “Anyway, I heard you and Ivan had a date over the weekend!”
Mylene blushes, all thoughts of worms gone from her mind.
Mylene stops by the art club later that day, only for there to be a sign saying “WORM CLUB” instead.
Mylene collapses as she suddenly gets a pounding headache.
She holds her head as she remembers, those weren’t just dreams. Those were memories of her past life - of her life as a worm.
Alya turns from where she was setting up the room for the worm club meeting to see Mylene on the ground, holding her head.
“Oh my God, Mylene, are you okay?” Alya asks, worriedly hovering over the girl.
“W-Worm,” Mylene manages to say before passing out.
Mylene wakes up to a lot of people hovering over her.
“I heard you’re worm,” Nathaniel says, as he smiles reassuringly at her.
“I-I am,” Mylene says shakily.
“Well then, welcome to worm club.”
