"Morning everyone, it's a glorious day to be back at work isn't it?" TK said cheerfully as he joined the team upstairs.
"How are you so cheerful on a monday morning." Nancy groaned and poured herself a coffee.
"City boy was just on his honeymoon for two weeks and judging by his tan and all of the photos he sent to the group chat he had a great time." Judd mused as he patted TK on the back. "It's good to have you back little brother."
"Still too early to be this cheerful." Nancy grumbled but smiled at TK when he looked over, she really was happy for her partner.
"I had a glorious time with my amazing husband, we explored loads, went to the beach, acted like tourists amongst other things i won't say with my dad present!" TK grinned widely and grabbed a water from the fridge.
Tommy smiled at TK and stood up to hand him a package now. "Welcome back Strand, your new uniform and name tag came in so I guess it's Strand-Reyes now."
TK excitedly took the package and opened it quickly, let out a small excited noise when he saw the name tag. "So much better." He smiled. "No offence Dad!"
Owen chuckled and shook his head at his son. "None taken son, Strand-Reyes suits you well." He smiled and ruffled his hair. "It's good to have you back."
"It's good to be back Dad, even if i do miss my beautiful husband." TK said, smiling at the affection.
"It's been two minutes and you've already said the husband word more than once, still got the buzz i see?" Marjan smiled.
"Always will do Marj! You'll feel the same when you and Nancy get there!" TK said with a playful grin before rushing out of the room to get changed, laughing as he heard Marjan and Nancy shout after him.
"I hope you know that i'm going to get you back for that comment." Nancy grumbled as she climbed into the passengers seat of the ambulance not long after.
"It was an innocent comment!" TK defended with a sly grin.
"We've been on two dates!" Nancy pointed out with a sigh, she didn't want Marjan being scared away.
"After months of pining! You have nothing to worry about Marj is smitten with you, anyone could see that." TK smiled, he truly was so happy that his friends were finally on the road to dating.
"Good because I really like her." Nancy said quietly, still getting used to talking about her feelings like this to someone other than Tim.
"If i'm not your maid of honour at the wedding then i'm finding a new work partner." TK teased as he parked at the call sight.
"TK!" Nancy exclaimed as her partner jumped from the vehicle.
"Children behave now." Tommy said playfully, happy to have her team together again. "Looks like we're here on standby for now, stay alert."
"I'll go speak to the on scene officers, see if I can get us some more information." TK said with a grin, walking off towards the patrol cars.
"Real subtle Strand, there wasn't even any effort put into that!" Nancy called after TK.
"That's Strand-Reyes now!" TK called back with a laugh, smiling brightly as he walked off.
"Oh to be young and in love again." Tommy smiled fondly as she watched TK rush off.
"Well hello there officer Strand-Reyes, you are looking very beautiful today." TK praised with a flirty grin.
Carlos turned around quickly with a bright smile and small blush appearing on his cheeks. "Hey baby, i missed you."
"You just spent two weeks alone and live together, it's been two hours." Mitchell said, not bothering to comment on how she was still halfway through a story, she knew not to get between the pair by now.
"It was a long two hours!" TK said dramatically, moving to cuddle into Carlos' arms now.
"I see your new uniform came in too." Carlos smiled, he loved seeing their name on TK's uniform even more than he loved seeing it on his own.
"It did and it's beautiful." TK grinned brightly, tilting his head up to smile at Carlos. "Now everyone knows you are mine."
"Oh trust me y'all, everyone knew this already with how much you two are all over each other in and out of work." Mitchell commented with a small head shake. "I'll leave you lovebirds to it and find somewhere else to stand while we wait."
"Bye Mitchell, see you later!" TK said politely and turned in Carlos' arms now. "Are you still coming to the station for your lunch?"
"Barring an actual emergency nothing will stop me from missing out on Paul's cooking." Carlos hummed and placed a soft kiss on TK's nose, chuckling as TK went cross eyed looking at it.
"Beware of the teasing we'll get but that's the usual nowadays." TK said and leant up to kiss Carlos softly.
"Mm not at work ty, don't want to get too distracted." Carlos hummed, holding him closely.
"Stop giving me the cow eyes then." TK pouted cutely.
Carlos laughed and swayed them slightly. "I can't help how I look at you Ty." He mused before his radio came to life with instructions. "Time for work, i'll see you at lunch baby." He said softly, letting go reluctantly.
"Be safe, love you." TK said, leaning up for a quick kiss with a wink before moving to head back to Tommy and Nancy.
"Love you too Tyler, stay safe too, I know what you are like!" Carlos called after him.
TK laughed and stopped next to Nancy with a content sigh. "So, when should we expecting the first Strand-Reyes kid?" She said casually.
"Nancy!" TK spluttered with a blush, making both Tommy and Nancy laugh.
