Chapter Text
Everything happened to fast. The crane, the building breaking and now Gwen and Mary Jane were dangling from the edge. Gwen’s husband was trying to use a window washing scaffolding to grab Gwen as Spider-Man got Mary Jane and others to safety, he was going back for Gwen and Eddie Brock the scaffolding wire got cut from some of the torn metal beams and Gwen lost her grip.
Spider-Man quickly swung by, and snatched her up from her death. Meanwhile, firefighters help Eddie Brock down to the ground.
The husband and wife embraced each other. Eddie Brock then turned to Spider-Man and said, "Thank you, Spider-Man. Thank you for saving my family. I was wrong about you."
"No problem, Bro," was all Peter said and then he swung away. Later back at his apartment Peter learned that Spidey would be getting a key to the city by Police Captain George Stacy and he couldn't help but feel giddy...
But Mary Jane was still mad at him.
