Chapter Text
During the two-year mission, they had only talked over the phone and wrote letters when possible. However, it wasn't enough because they still missed each other, holding each other, touching each other, and kissing each other every day, so they couldn't believe it when they spotted the other one standing on the opposite street.
They just stood still for a moment, looking at each other, and prayed that what they had dreamt and yearned for two years wasn't a dream anymore and that the other was really standing there.
Slowly, they started to walk down the street, but after a couple of steps, they began running towards each other into a familiar embrace and a kiss that showed them that this wasn't a dream but reality and that they were again together.
