Y/n POV
After walking out of school with Jason not worrying about Joe, we start making small talk as we begin to walk around our local area, we walked around for little bit talking and laughing about everything and anything. After a little bit Jason takes me to the local ice cream parlour and we sit an share an ice cream together. Everything was going amazing and I was enjoying my time with Jason, for once Joe wasn't circling around in my head and I wasn't thinking about him. This all changed when I heard the door go and the distinct laugh of Amber walking through the door. My Heart stopped. Looking around I saw Joe and Amber walk into the parlour and sitting on the other side of the small shop. Trying to ignore them I turn back to Jason and carry on trying to enjoy the ice cream.
After a while I had more a less forgotten about Joe and Amber being here and I was getting more comfortable around Jason. We carried on eating our ice creams and got ready to go, as Jason went to go pay the bill, Joe and I make eye contact, I give him a small smile and look away quickly grabbing my stuff and walking over to Jason and walking out, having another quick look over my shoulder to see Joe staring at me.
Joe's POV
After school I walked around to find Amber so we could go for our date, just before we left I saw y/n waiting outside the boys lockers she's going on a date with looking around waiting for him. Nick and Kevin seemed to join me too, before Amber arrived y/n was looking around and her eyes fell on all three of us, she seemed to smile weakly at both Kevin and Nick but didn't batter an eyelid towards me, maybe it was because of what happened earlier. Y/n then saw the guy she was going out with and walked out of school. Sighing I turn to look at my brothers and both of them gave me questioning looks.
"What happened at lunch Joe? I know it was something to do with y/n" Nick asks,
"Like I said earlier, I needed to go to the loo" lied, which Nick knew I was too
"Well if you don't tell me, I'll just go and ask y/n myself tomorrow then" Nick replied looking me dead in the eyes
"Fine" I huffed "Basically I confronted y/n about how she's been dressing the last couple of days, and before you say it, you know she has being doing this. I saw her outside her locker told her that dressing doesn't get my attention and that she isn't fouling anyone" I said rather aggressively
Looking at both of my brothers they both had the same facial expression. Gob smacked. A small smile is set on my lips as Amber walks around the corner
"Also do not mention this to Amber or tell y/n that I told you" I whispered as Amber walked over to us. Giving her a quick kiss and grabbing her hand we walk out of school and I turn around and shout to Nick and Kevin that I'll see later
The first stop on our date was the ice cream parlour, ever since we started dating we always went here for out dates. Walking in and scanning for a place to sit my eyes fall on y/n. Turning to Amber I grab her hand and she giggles, this getting y/n's attention, quickly I walk over to the other side of the parlour and order some ice cream. I was enjoying the time with Amber but I couldn't stop looking over at y/n.
After a while Jason got up form his seat and went to pay for the ice cream, y/n was looking around and make eye contact with me. She gives me a small smile and walk over to Jason and walk out of the door. Turning back to Amber we finish the ice cream and also walk out the door and start walking to the cinema, just ahead of us I see y/n and Jason walking and having a genuine nice time which did deep down hurt me. Maybe I am falling for y/n. Quickly erasing that thought out of my head we carry on walking towards the cinema and walk inside to pay for some tickets. Standing behind y/n and her date without them knowing they pay for their tickets and carry on through. Going up to the till and get the same tickets as y/n and walk through grabbing some popcorn and Amber and find our seats.
Looking around I see y/n and her date sitting a few seats in front of us, he had his arm around her and she was leaning on him, again that sudden anger came back and I distracted myself by putting my arm around Amber and try to enjoy the film, stealing glances towards her.
Y/n POV
After the ice cream we make out way to the cinema and order our tickets, during the whole time I felt like I was being watched, I unconsciously grabbed onto Jason arm and stayed close to him felling safe. We got the tickets and entered the cinema room, sitting down Jason puts his arm around me and I lean on his shoulder, we made small talk before the lights went down and we started to watch the film, Still feeling like someone is watching me again, looking around I see Joe, staring down at me, I make eye contact with him and quickly look away, Amber then made eye contact with me and gives me the dirtiest look, looking back at Joe he wraps an arm around Amber and glares at me. Without another thought turned back around and cuddled up to Jason
"Are you ok?" Jason whispered to me
"Sure" I reply a bit too quickly
"Bull shit, what's troubling you?" He asked. Without another moment he turned around and saw Joe sitting just a few seats away "Oh" he replies and turns back to me "Do you want to leave or anything I'm happy too if you wanna" He turns to me smiling reassuring
"I'm ok, I wanna enjoy myself with you and not let Joe ruin it ok" I smile back and move my head onto his shoulder again. After the film we both got up and left rather quickly and started walking home, the whole time Jason and I kept brushing our hands walking down the road and smiling and blushing. In the end I grabbed his hand and interlocked our hands and carried on walking to my house.
Making small talk we finally get back to my house and walks me to the door, standing on the porch awkwardly, Looking everywhere except Jason, he notices this and grabs my chin and made me look at him.
"I really enjoyed my night tonight y/n" Jason whispered
"So did I" I reply staring at him back. Again the silence came back and I was still looking at Jason. He began to lean in, Slightly scared I followed the lead and got closer to Jason too. Just as Jason was about to kiss me a voice called out my name ruining the moment......................
