"I've loved you too, Hyung."
Seungwoo can't feel any better and any dumber than he does right now.
Better for that Seungsik loves him back and, love is a strong word described.
And dumb for that if he told sooner, he wouldn't have to go away for 2 years, get jealous over Jaeyoung or be heartbroken again and again.
He involuntarily lets out a laugh, then another and another until his shoulders are scrunching and his tapioca pearl eyes are hidden behind crinkles.
"For real?" He asks out of disbelief, how could things be so good to be true.
He even tries to believe its a dream but Seungsik has never looked this pretty in any dream, his brain never had the capacity to make up Seungsik's beauty on its own.
Seungwoo takes in his features, the honest eyes and realization hits him like a truck. All this time, Seungsik was always so obvious, how could he not see the other loved him, too?
When had they ever behaved like just a pair of bestfriends?
Seungsik nods, answering the almost forgotten question, "Really. Why do you think I was so hurt without you? I was missing half a piece of me, hyung. You have always been special to me, that's why I always needed you," he brings up Seungwoo's hands to press a soft kiss to his knuckles, "And still do."
Oh, Seungwoo's chest is bursting with happiness. He's so overwhelmed, filled to the throat with flower petals, he feels like someone just gave him the world in his hands.
Seungsik's grinning, "There is no late or soon, only this present moment matters, hyung. Whatever happened is gone already, but now," it's like he read what's worrying Seungwoo and the regret washes away entirely, instead replaces pure bliss.
"Now, we have each other back again." His eyes fall onto Seungwoo's lips and the latter can't hold back anymore, he cups Seungsik's face in his large hands, comparing the size of his face and Seungwoo's palms,
The younger's sparkly eyes look back at him, "I don't even know what to say, how could you be like this?" Seungwoo knocks his forehead with the other where Seungsik holds his wrists and closes his eyes, "Four damned years have come to this, I swear I can't be happier."
Seungsik giggles, "We are idiots, one of us could have done this sooner."
"But then this exact feeling right now wouldn't have existed, right? Everything's perfect as it is." He assured, whispering.
Their heartbeats race loud, and Seungwoo tilts his head to lean in and feels Seungsik's hands go in his hair, signalling that he wants it too. Even more so when he attaches his lips to Seungwoo's chastely, and Seungwoo kisses him deeper, the taste of Seungsik's lips irresistable.
They savor the feeling, pulling away just to come back in and kiss each other more, and Seungsik pulls him down close, pressing them together to kiss him better and Seungwoo can't fight the smile coming up to his face out of happiness.
The young love he desired to have is still possible, its still here within his grasp as he tightens his hands around Seungsik's waist and lets go of the kiss just to laugh relieved,
And Seungsik curls his fingers into the older's hair gently, "Shit, I think I'm too happy-" he starts before the main door is flung open and Chan is running inside, "Seungsik, help!" He freezes upon seeing the other two's position and they quickly detach but it's a bit... too late.
Chan's lips curve and he smirks suggestively, wiggling his eyebrows up and down, "Oh, I see. I see... well, it was about time anyways."
Seungsik clears his throat, blushing, "What did you need help with?"
Chan shakes his head, still wearing that weird expression, "Nothing, nothing. Me and Hanse were just playing around and decided to visit Seungwoo's place and found out from Jaeyoung you're already here but...we'll come back later!"
Seungwoo interjects, trying to stop them, "It's okay, let's spend time together."
Chan rolls his eyes, "No thank you, we'll come in the evening."
The eldest tries to insist again but Chan is left in a second, shutting the door behind him.
After a moment, Seungsik breaks the silence,
"So...let's go on a date?" Seungsik asks and Seungwoo swoons, flopping on the couch further and trying to become one with it,
"Fuck yes. That's not even a question, let's go on dates all of my life."
Seungsik flushes further and places his head on Seungwoo's shoulder, throwing his arm over the latter's side, "Mh-mm, let's make up for the 4 years."
"You never had an issue with me, did you? It was just because you liked him all this time."
Seungwoo had sighed that time, looked at Jaeyoung pathetically,
"I love him too much, that's all there is to it."

Chan: yeah we told jaeyoung to be touchy with seungsik lol
Sejun: i nean it worked so were all gopd
Chan: it was just to make you jealous you know what i mean?
Seungwoo: cant believe i fell for a plan YOU idiots set up
Hanse: theres no way youre calling us an idiot when you fell for that 🤣
Subin: well, as long as theyre finally together so we dont have to act as cupids anymore
Seungwoo: thank you, boys ... i needed that push
Seungwoo: though jaeyoung did a good job in pissing me off
Hanse: we knew he would do so well since he already likes seungsik hyung anyways

Seungsik: whaat!!! You guys set us up?! And we fell for it?! :O
Chan: dude be thankful to us, or else you both would have continued this for who knows how long

Seungwoo: uh huh and why did you say 'stop it hyung is around'
Seungsik: because i knew you would misunderstand and he knows i love you!
