‘What the fuck is going on!?’
Cale, not aware of Choi Han and Yoo Joonghyuk’s glaring contest, keeps cursing silently. Especially when he see Alberu retreat with the others
Cale’s observing Choi Han’s back, reminding him of the first time Choi Han meet Toonka.
Wait, does this mean Yoo Joonghyuk is going to fight Choi Han?
Cale pales. No way, these two clearly can’t fight each other. Especially near him. He will die.
Before Cale could said anything, a building exploded. Choi Han hurriedly hugs Cale, shielding him from the debris.
[The 7th grade monster, Great Poisonous Rhinoceros has appeared!]
Cale’s eyes widen at the notification. He remember the notification about the land being deeply polluted, and now he meets with this monster. After seeing the monster’s name, Cale’s convinced this monster is the one polluting the land.
The monster appears from the dust.
The monster looks like a rhino but it is bigger and scarier. Well, from the name alone Cale can guess the monster’s appearance. The rhino turns its head to them.
Yoo Joonghyuk immediately pulls out his sword.
Alberu readies his gun while, Choi Han protectively makes his stance in front of Cale.
Han Myungoh looks like he is ready to flee anytime.
Yoo Sangah grabs Lee Gilyoung, Lee Hyunsung stand in front of them.
Observing this, Cale activate one of his skill
[Skill Record Lv.1 has been activated!]
This monster is different from the monsters in his previous world. He needs to recording and analyze it.
Cale deduct two possibilities on how the air’s getting polluted.
First, the monster shoots poison from its breath. Kind of like a dragon breath, but instead of fire, it exhales poison.
Second, the monster sweats the poison out. Once its sweat evaporates, the poison become a gas.
Other than this two possibilities, Cale can’t think of another way on how the monster pollutes the air. Still, Cale has a feeling that neither of those possibilities are correct.
The rhino is quietly staring at Cale and the others. Suddenly, it turns its body, showing his butt.
Cale frowns, what is this monster doing?
Yoo Joonghyuk knows what the rhino will to do.
“Be carefull. It’s going to attack!”
“What? But it’s not looking at us.” Choi Han says confused.
“its poison’s not coming from its breath nor sweat, but from its fart.”
Right after Yoo Joonghyuk ends his explanation, purple smoke comes out from the rhino butt.
Cale’s surprised. He didn’t expect this kind of attack at all. ‘I mean, who will expect this kind attack like, what the fuck!? Fart!? Really!?’
Everyone is moving away from the poisoned purple smoke.
“I was seriously thinking the monster would attack us with a kind of poison breath. Not a fart.” says Alberu while running away. “When will that thing stop farting? I feel like it is mocking us”
Yoo Jonghyuk lunges forward despite the poisonous fog and starts fighting the poison rhino=like monster. His sword hit the monster’s side cutting into the poison with the strength of his blow. There’s a loud whine followed by the hit. Blood starts pouring out from the rhino-like creature’s side.
Seemly unbothered by the poison, Yoo Jonghyuk continues to strike the enraged bleeding monster down.
(A/N: Sorry I can’t write fight scene yet TvT)
“How is he still okay with all that poison?” Yoo Sangah asks.
“I’m sure he has poison resistance or something similar.” Answers Alberu while trying to avoid the quickly approaching purple smoke. “For now, let’s try to stay away from that poisonous fog”
“We can’t go back. There is poisonous fog behind” Choi Han says from the back, keeping Cale close to his side.
“Umm… actually, there is poisonous fog from all direction.” Lee Hyunsung chimes in.
While Yoo Joonghyuk’s busy fighting the monster, Cale and others are in a pinch. The poisonous fog’s surrounding them. It’s coming from all directios as if it was being carried by the wind.
Wait.
Cale blinked.
Wind?
Why didn’t he think about that? The poison is fog. He can sweep it away with wind.
“Everybody, stay close to me!” Cle orders.
The others look at him with a confused gaze. Cale ignore their gaze and activate his skill.
[Skill, Sound of the Wind Lv.1 has been activated!]
With Cale in the center, the wind starts moving and surrounds them as if they were in the eye of a tornado, preventing the poisonous fog from coming closer.
It’s only Lv. 1 so it’s still weak but, it’s good enough to keep the fog away from them.
Cale smiles
He still can’t hear them. He doesn’t know why he can’t. But, he likes the familiar feeling, knowing all his ancient powers are still with him. He won’t admit it but he feels comforted with his ancient power here.
Suddenly, Cale had thought.
Will he be able to hear their voices again if the skill leveled up to certain level?
He kinda misses their voices in his head.
Especially because of how Super Rock was like danger detector. Very useful!
KWAAANG!!
They can hear sounds from Yoo Joonghyuk battle. Choi Han grips his sword tightly. He also wants to fight, but he doesn’t have a poison resistance skill yet. At least he can keep Cale and Alberu safe near him.
Cale keeps controlling the wind while recording Yoo Joonghyuk battle. It will become good data for future their battles. His hand subconsciously reaches to the top of his shirt before realizing he was wearing a hoodie
Cale clicks his tongue. At least he can roll up his sleeves
Before he can touch his sleeve, he has the feeling something is coming. Cale’s pretty sure it’s his premonition skill. However, the skill, can’t pinpoint from where the danger’s come, or what is going to appear. He’s sure it’s not the dokkaebi as the feeling when dokkaebi appears is different.
Alberu notices how his dongsaeng keeps looking everywhere trying to find something, but never stopping at exact place.
“What are you searching for Cale?”
“Hmm… I have feeling something is coming toward us, but I don’t know from where it will come.”
After hearing that, Alberu and Choi Han take battle stance. They focus their senses to try to locate possible enemies
Since they arrived in this world and became children, they realized their strength decreased to fit their bodies. Because of that, they trained every day, trying to regain their past strength and senses.
Cale refused to join training though.
“I already have you two who will definitely protect me, so it’s fine right?” is what he always said
That made Choi Han train harder. As his disciple, Alberu had to follow his Instructor hellish training.
Sometimes he wanted to run from training.
His Instructor is too goddamn scary.
In 8 years, Alberu and Choi Han have become stronger than average people but they nowhere near their past level. Because of this, Choi Han even suggest going to war zone and get stronger there. Affected by Choi Han’s burning spirit, Alberu agreed.
But of course, Cale didn’t.
Like hell he would let them go to war zone.
Heck, he even hid their passports so they couldn’t go out of Korea.
Back to the present
Alberu and Choi Han who keep focusing, finally feel something. The thing is big and fast. Alberu hurriedly shouts.
“Everybody down!!”
Yoo Sangah keeps holding Lee Gilyoung and ducks while Lee Hyunsung covers them with his big body.
Han Myungoh’s already gone, hiding somewhere.
The otherworldly trio ducks right as a monster jumps above them.
The monster lands near them, making dust fly. Cale keeps controlling the wind so his party won’t get affected by the poison.
They looking at the monster.
It’s another rhino monster.
The rhino also looking at them. It seems to have realized that the poison can’t go near them. The rhino started huffing, ready to charge at anytime
Cale curses, he immediately shouts toward Alberu and Choi Han.
“Hyung! Choi Han! Don’t worry about the poison! I will keep it away. Just focus on defeating that monster!”
Alberu and Choi Han glance at each other before nodding. They start running toward the monster who’s also charging forward. Cale moves his hand, clearing the poison and making a way for his two hyungs
Alberu starts shooting. Unfortunately, none of his bullet scratch the rhino. He tsked and checks his skill list. He is looking for a skill that could injure the rhino while Choi Han handles the monster.
A skill catches his eye. He points his gun as activates his skill.
[Skill, Attribute Bullet Lv.1 has been activated!]
[Attribute ‘Fire’ has been added!]
BANG! BANG!
Alberu shoot to the eyes
GRAAAAAHHH!!
The monster roars in pain ignoring Choi Han who waste no time and starts attacking.
[Skill, Sword Aura Lv.1 has been activated!]
Black aura covers Choi Han’s sword. He swing his sword and cuts through the rhino’s horn. He also manages to injure some parts on the rhino’s body.
The rhino starts wailing and goes into rampage. He manages to throw Choi Han away. He stomps with his big legs, making the ground vibrates before charging violently towards Alberu
“Shit!” Alberu immediately jumps to other side in order to avoid the rhino.
This time, the rhino charges towards Cale and the others.
Alberu and Choi Han panic while Cale starts thinking.
Should he use his shield? Or should he just make a stone wall to stop the charging rhino?
Before Cale could finish thinking, somebody runs towards the raging rhino. It was Lee Hyunsung. Yoo Sangah and Lee Gilyoung are hiding under a building that looks like it’s going to collapse. Han Myungoh’s still hidden.
Lee Hyunsung activates his stigma
[Stigma, Great Mountain Push Lv.1 has been activated]
Lee Hyunsung’s biceps swell as he holds onto the rhino. He groans while he gets pushed back. Choi Han and Alberu do not waste the opportunity and rushed towards Lee Hyunsung.
The rhino stomps his foot again, trying to break of Lee Hyunsung’s stability.
Because of the shaking ground, the building where Yoo Sangah and Lee Gilyoung are hiding collapsed.
Yoo Sangah grabs Yoo Gilyoung’s hand and runs to avoid the falling debris. Unfortunately, Lee Gilyoung trips slipping out of Yoo Sangah’s grip.
Yoo Sangah watches in horror as a large debris is quickly approaching the child.
Lee Gilyoung closes his eyes ready for the pain. But, no matter how much he waits, he doesn’t feel anything.
Lee Gilyoung opens his eyes and sees someone has protecting him.
[Skill, Indestructible Shield Lv. 2 has been activated]
A beautifull silver shield with wings appears from Cale, who is stretching his arms. Cale turns his head toward Lee Gilyoung
“Are you okay?” Cale asks.
“…Yes, I’m okay” Lee Gilyoung nods.
Cale sighs in relief. Yoo Sangah hurriedly approaches Lee Gilyoung. She checks if he is okay before taking his hand to get them away from the collapsed building.
CRASH
Something lands harshly near them stopping their retreat. They are surprised when they see that something being Lee Hyunsung. It looks like the rhino managed to shook him off
“Oh my god!” Yoo Sagah gasps
“Both of you, don’t get away from me!!” Cale shouts “Dammit.”
Cale can’t move because he still holding the huge debris falling to them with his shield. He looks towards the monster that’s starting charging towards him. Cale tsks and once again activated another skill
[Skill, Super Rock Lv. 1 has been activated]
Cale’s already thinking thoroughly about this.
He can’t use fiery thunderbolt and sky eating water for now because the recoil will be severe and he might faint.
No trees surround him so glutton’s also out of his option.
His wind won’t be able to make that monster flow away.
The dominating aura’s out of option
That leaves Super Rock. It can’t hurt the rhino because it’s only level 1, but at least it will keep the monster occupied, giving Choi Han a gap to kill it.
Using three ancient powers plus record at same time give a burden to his body. Blood seeps out from the corner of his mouth, but Cale doesn’t care about that.
The debris on the ground started floating, making it seem as if they were meteorites shooting toward the sky.
The earth and the stones start to turn to tens and then hundreds of spears.
The sharp points of the spears point accurately at the charging rhino.
Cale stomps on the ground.
Boom! The ground shakes.
“Go.”
The stone spears start moving, charging towards the rhino.
They hit the rhino, scratching it a little but successfully slowing it down. One of the spears crashes on one of the rhino’s feet, making it trip and fall
“Choi Han, now!!!” Cale shouts
Choi Han jumps, raising his sword. The black aura’s still covering his sword as he activates his stigma.
[Stigma, Sword’s Blessing Lv. 1 has been activated]
The sword starts to rumble. The black aura covering the sword becomes more violent, soaring high to the sky. The aura looks five time stronger than before
Choi Han swings his sword down, cutting off the rhino’s head

Aiight… this time is Choi Han’s attribute window and we will have Alberu’s attribute window in the next chapter
