We stayed in that hug for what i could guess at most five minutes but it felt like an eternity, when we released each other from our hug I could see tear stains on my mom’s and sister’s faces, I could only guess it was the same for me but now we need to discuss what are we going to do.
“So, do any of you two know what happened and if you don’t, do you know what we are?” My mom asked us and I was the first to answer.
“No, I don’t know what happened that made us like this, but what I do know is what we are.” When I finished what I said they both looked at me with both hope and confusion so let that sink in a bit before continuing "...Ok, what I believe we turned into pokemon as hard to believe as that sounds."
They both looked at me like I said the stupidest shit ever and I can't fault them.
"Natalia, are you joking? I do believe this is no laughing matter mija." My mom sounded annoyed and she has the right to be annoyed because this is so outlandish, thankfully my sister took my side to make our mom more understanding of where I'm coming from with this.
"Ma, I believe what Nat is saying, now that I think about it I have seen these bodies before, yours and mine to be precise because I don't recognize Nat's. I believe that I am a pokemon named Croagunk and you are one named Gliscor." Thank the heavens for Ash, my sister can come in handy when the moment comes.
"So we are these creatures from your little fabula and games?" Our mom questioned again just to be sure we aren't crazy, and we aren't, like jeez trust us on this.
"I am certain that this body is that of the pokemon Golisopod, it is a pokemon from the seventh generation." I informed them about the info that I know about Golisopod since it is needed for them to know this.
"So that's about it, that is all I know about Golisopod, so any idea of what to do now? When I grabbed my phone earlier I saw that it was disconnected and there was no signal." We need to have a plan for what to do and get in contact with our family, now you might be wondering 'why are you asking them if they have an idea of what to do if you already know that you need to get in contact with your family', and to that my sweet ignorant summer child I have the answer, my phone has no service and I don't why but since it has no service I can't use it to make messages or calls and it might be possible that my mom and sister's phones be in the same situation as mine which means we can't get in contact using our phones so we need to contact them in a different way, does that stop you from questioning me?
"If your phone doesn't have service it is possible that Ashley still has some data in her phone to send a message to your father, after all her phone uses Movistar and not Kolby." My mom did make sense there, Movistar is connected internationally as opposed to Kolby that is only national so it could be possible that Ashley's phone is still in service, how did I not think of that? Just because of some phones not having service does not mean that all phones are out, man, I am dumb.
“Yes, Ash, where did you leave your phone and do you know if it still has service?” I asked, I honestly doubt that she checked her phone if it still has service but it is worth asking.
“It is still in my room but I don’t know if it has service or not.” I was right in doubting her, but we need to get that phone to see if my mom’s assumption is right. So we go to Ashley’s room but again, I am stuck at the door.
“Hey, guys, I am kinda stuck.” This is so depressing, it’s so annoying that I can’t go through doors that used to be ok but are now too small for me because of some random bullshit.
“Hay, mija, don’t worry we will get you out of there, just wait a bit.” With that my mom left with Ash who was trying to contain her laughter at my unfortunate situation.
“ Did...Did they just leave me here stuck at the door!? Que putas!? ” I was screaming in my mind because I couldn’t believe they could both just leave me here stuck in a door. I mean, they do need to see if Ash’s phone is able to contact the rest of the family but couldn’t one of them just help me and the other goes for the phone, “ This is so depressing ” Nat thought, unknowingly, letting herself have these emotions will lead to something in the future but only time will tell.

“ Ui mae, I can’t believe we just left Nat like that, I can barely contain my laughter.” Ash thought to herself as she was walking to her room with her mom, in truth, she did feel bad for treating Nat like that but they did need to prioritize getting in contact with their family, helping Nat out of the door will come later.
Valentina was having it harder to deal with in comparison to her daughter Ashley, she just abandoned her younger daughter Natalia stuck on a doorway. She felt like a terrible mom by doing that but right now they need to contact their family and discover if there are more people in the same situation. When they got to Ash’s room they spotted the phone on the bed and Ash went quickly to go grab it.
“Here it is, it still has internet but it’s E, E for Eternity.” Ash said as she checked her phone, “Hey, I got a message from dad”, Ashley said the moment she saw the notification on her phone.
“What does it say?” Valentina asked her daughter.
“It is a voice message.” Ash then played the message.
“ Hey, guys how are you doing! Are you ok? Are any of you hurt? I don’t know what happened but I turned into some strange creature thing, I heard that it has happened to other people throughout the city. I hope you guys are doing ok and safe and I know it is hard to believe that what I just said to you is true, I love you.” The message ended.
“So I guess that this transformation thing goes beyond just us, I hope your father is ok, I wonder what he ended up turning into.” Valentina said to her older daughter.
“Yea, I guess it is good that we learned that we aren’t the only ones to have this happen to them, I worry for him, Ma, I also hope he is ok.” Ash said in return. “Come on, let's go tell Nat and help her out of that door.” continued saying Ash.
“Yes, mija, let’s go.” Valentina said in return.
With nothing more said, they both went back to tell Nat about the message from their dad and to help her out of the door.
