Hello Readers,
Sorry it's been so long, a lot has happened. I don't really know what to say, I feel like I've let people down in a sense that my works haven't been updated in so long. My life this year has drastically changed, it's definitely a positive change, it also means that life has become a lot more busier. I can't say if others ever go through a faze where they question themselves, question wether or not they should do something, wether they are the person they wanted to be. I first started writing fanfic for the soul reason that I couldn't find a fanfic about this person from a show turning into a mermaid. Yep, that's how it all began.
It would have to be 4 years ago, back when I was writing on good old Wattpad before moving on to here. I told all of my friends that it was going to get 100k reads, which it didn't but god was I proud of it for getting 10 reads, and when that 10 turned into 1k I was so happy. Knowing that people were enjoying the things I write, made me happy. I don't think people realise how much comments can mean to someone on their stories, knowing that people enjoy what you write motivates you to continue on despite what others may think or say.
It got to a point where I thought I couldn't keep getting chapters out weekly for more than one story, I thought I would be able to. I didn't want to let anyone down, it got to the point where I stopped enjoying writing. I haven't actually written anything since March this year (2021), a lot of things have been happening in my life which are all positive things. I'm at a stage now, where I want to be writing again. I've found the balance and am ready to get back into it.
I've learnt from previous experience not to try and take too many challenges at once, I'm sorry to say that my return to writing will be slow. It's not physically possible to put out new chapters for stories everyday anymore. Currently, my plan is to go through all my published stories. I'll be editing them and re-writing a few of them to a higher standard, once all my works have been edited, I'll begin uploading new chapters for my story. I can't say what stories will be updated first, but I'm looking to update 2-3 stories weekly. I won't be starting any new projects till I've gotten majority of my current ones completed.
I wanted to say thank you to those who have read my stories, and to those who may have just stumbled across this today. Writing has always brought me joy, I hope you continue to support these stories and future ones to come.
