It's been 5 months, since junwan and iksun started dating once again. And as always it has been, they went on dates quite a lot and sometimes little less as they both got busier with their work life. Iksun has decided to do her higher studies while in korea and junwan was also busy with back to back surgeries. But still they found time to go to seoul and changwon no matter how busy they were. And last two weeks were not so different but they had to cancel their date as junwan got called in for a emergency and so they both decided to take a day off this weekend and spend whole day together.
"Iksunahh.. are you sure this is where you wanted to come ?"
Junwan whined with his baby voice not believing where iksun is dragging him in. Last night when junwan asked where would they go for the date, iksun said she has a place she wanted to go and it's a surprise, junwan without no doubt agreed. Whatever it is iksun wanted, junwan is always ready to grand it.
But right now before the day ends, he coudn't believe iksun is dragging him in to a amusement park. While Junwan is busy looking around, iksun finally stops infront of shooting game shop.
"Iksunah what's this. Don't tell me you want me to play this ?" Junwan asked visibly terrified. Iksun couldn't stop laughing seeing his face.
"Yess..let's play it and loser should grand the winner a wish." Iksun said while paying the counter for two games and looking so excited.
"That's unfair. Iksunah i was exempted from military too. I don't know how to shoot. Are you right now teasing your oppa? And practically you will win this anyway."
"Oppa you don't need to go to military to do this game. Just aim and shoot. Here, oppa you go first" iksun passed the toy gun and waited for him to start the game. Junwan's face was literally so comical but iksun tried her best not to show that she is enjoying her view a lot.
Junwan swears he used all his concentration even better than when he does surgeries but still all he managed to hit was one. And as predicted iksun hit all the points and won the game.
"Yeehuuuu.. oppa i won the game. You saw right. So now grand me a wish"
"Ha..arasso..you won. So tell me what's your wish." Junwan said looking too happy for someone who lost a game terribly. How come he couldn't possibly be so happy when iksun is excitedly jump like a small kid.
Iksun slowly dropped her all excited face to a little serious and nervous expression while facing junwan infront of the shop. Junwan also noticing the sudden change of the mood turned fully towards her showing that he is ready to hear her wish evethough a slight worry is creeping into his mind.
Iksun cleared her throat and acted like she is going to drop a big announcement. And of course she did.
"Oppa..Marry me."
Iksun was so sure that she practised million times how to propose to him but did just end up saying three words. Oppa, marry, me, yeah that's the most simple way it could be tell and she wonders if he got what she meant. It's been 10 seconds anf junwan looks visibly shocked, a lot and he isn't even blinking. Is he dead, is he breathing or not..
"Oppa, let's get married. Hm..so will you marry me ?" Right. Now it's perfect. Iksun is now nervously waiting for his answer, looking in to his eyes but junwan is still in statue looking mortified. Feeling the nervousness creeping back in iksun decided to break the silence.
"Oppa why are you not saying anything. Is it because you don't want t.." iksun stopped talking when junwan suddenly took one step closer to her, another and another, now so close like he can kiss her with just one swift move. He still looking serious and shocked placed his arms on iksun shoulder and looked deep into her eyes.
"When.."
"Hm ?"
"When will we be getting married ? Next week ? Next month ? In two weeks ? Tomorrow? Ani ani today. Right now !"
Iksun broke into a big chuckled laugh. She couldn't believe how junwan turned into a whiny baby in just 0.5 seconds when he literally sacred her one second before.
"Oppa. Calm down. Shuu.. calm down."
"IKSUNAHH..how i can calm down when u just asked me to marry you.. YESSS I WOULD LOVE TO. LET'S GET MARRIED RIGHT NOW. "
Iksun laughed at how cute junwan is right now.
"We cant. Uri oppa will kill us if we get married without him."
"Ah right..we can't do it now..." feeling sad and detached junwan looked down. Seeing the change of junwan iksun couldn't stop smiling. He is really the death of her.
"In two months. Let's get married in two months. So we have time to do everything and invite everyone too."
Junwan quickly lifts his head and looks at iksun with big eyes.
"Two months ? But it's too long.. what if you change your..mind.." feeling down junwan looked away once again.
"Oppa. How could you say that. Don't you trust me ?"
"I do. I do trust you. But it just feels like a long time away"
"Oppa, look at me."
Iksun sounding so serious, junwan had no option but to look at her finally.
"Oppa, this isn't something i said out of the spur of the moment. I have been thinking about this for the past two months and after all the thinking this is the conclusion i came to. That i want to marry you, and live together and be your family. For the past weeks we have been busy anf couldn't meet, made me think what if we stayed together, wouldn't that save time and even before i knew it i have been imagining such a future with you, living together in our own home, going to sleep and waking up next to you everyday and taking care of each other. Then it suddenly hit me why don't we get married. For the year we were seperated and past months we dated was more than enough for me to clearly see how much i love you and how much i want you in my life. So there's nothing stopping me from keeping you close to me." Iksun took a deep breath in and gave junwan a beautiful reassuring smile.
If said junwan was enchanted right there, it wouldn't be a big lie. Junwan could see yellow orange sun setting from the corner of his eyes, and here his beautiful iksun just confessed how much she loves him and a cold wind flows between them waving iksun's small hair which is now quite grown like how it was when they first met two years ago, iksun's smile looked even more beautiful with flushed yellow colour gloss fall on her face thanks to setting sun next to them in the sky. Junwan is so sure that this is the best, most beautiful moment of his life. And very next moment to beat this one would be when he sees iksun walking down the aisle to him. Until then this is the best for him.
With the same assurance and love she is giving him now, junwan smiled at her almost about to cry. Then slowly reached down to hold her hand, her small hand wearing the ring he brought her a year ago.
"I promise you, my love will always be yours and to you only forever." Junwan said with the softest voice he ever have. Iksun couldn't help but widen her smile and nodded, like silently saying that she knows and she agrees.
Junwan moved down his head closing the gap between them finally sealing his and her silent and said promises with a sweat kiss. Breaking the kiss, junwan placed his forehead on hers and smiled.
"Saranghae, lee iksun, i love you." He whispered his heart out loud.
Iksun smiled.
"Nado. Kim junwan, saranghae"
Junwan smiled. They both smiled feeling eternal happiness within them and once again sealing their beautiful moment with another kiss.
Iksun if asked would say, she had the best love story and would even do a rap battle to prove it. To get confessed and asked out infront of a street food truck and then to propose to the man she loves with her whole heart infront of shooting game shop, none of other's lovestory wouldn't be interesting as hers. And her life really changed a lot when she met kim junwan. Now it made sense, why even when she first met him that he had a big impact on her, of course because at the end it was always him, the man of her life. And even at this moment, iksun could clearly remember how she first met junwan. And even up to now no one knows, not even junwan that he was her first love. It was a secret to be revealed on a good day, like on the day they will get married.
When iksun was in middle school and when ikjun was in high school, they rarely interacted during school period. It was because of two reasons, one is, it was embarrassing to tell others that ikjun was her brother and second reason is ikjun was a big busyboy that iksun sometimes didn't even saw him atleast once in the school. As much as he was the busy boy, he was very popular too specially among girls and along with him there was another person who was famous and it was kim junwan.
Iksun whenever she sees both of them being crackheads in school, wonders the reason why junwan is bestfriends with her oppa. There were one time she did thought whether if he is as crazy as her oppa or if he became crazy after spending time with ikjun. Whatever it is, he has already gotten the label along with ikjun.
Next time iksun saw junwan was in their living room, just a glance of him entering ikjun's room. It was the first time junwan was brought home or the first time iksun saw him more closer.
Whenever in the school when her friends talk about high school oppas, she wondered whether if she has a crush on junwan because whenever iksun see junwan, she can't stop thinking about him.
It was one friday after the school when iksun was going behind their school building, she found group of her age boys ganged against another boy. Of course considering iksun's personality, she couldn't just ignore so she decided to help that boy. She was still in middle school but she had already half way completed the levels of taekwondo so she was confident enough to fight 4 boys. Fighting 4 boys seperatly would have make iksun the winner but all together, it wasn't a good match for her. Instead of saving the poor boy, she ended up falling on floor, scratching her face. One of the boy were laughing at iksun and was about to hit her when someone from behind hit the boy's head with a stone.
"Yah.. how could you all hit a girl? Ah.. should i call all your seniors here and teach you all a good lesson ?" Random stranger had quite a scary voice and he sounded very much like a senior too. Iksun was sure she knows the owner of the voice but couldn't pin point whos it exactly was. Instead she decided to look up and see him herself.
If iksun knew she will be saved by her brother's equally crazy friend junwan, she wouldn't insist on saving that boy. This was quite embarrassing yet it was nice to get help from him, afterall iksun didn't knew what kind of person he was.
Junwan after successfully scaring off the boys, held his hand down to iksun, helping her get up. Iksun also without much thought took his hand to get up safely.
"Are you okay?" Junwan asked looking around and not sure of exactly what to ask.
"Yeah, iam fine. I should help this boy" iksun said looking at the boy who was hurt more than her.
Junwan agreeing, tried moving closer to the boy, but instead of helping him get up, junwan suddenly tripped himself with a wire on the floor making him fall on his face, even bringing down some boxes that was stacked up next to them.
"Are you okay?" Iksun quickly walked to junwan and help him get up. Looking at his face, it was quite visible that he has hurt his forehead a little too.
"Iam okay. Iam okay" junwan feeling embarrassed quickly moved away from iksun and helped the boy to get up. Iksun didn't miss the blushed face of junwan which literally made him more cute. Iksun wasn't sure why he is suddenly blushing, whether its because of her touching his arm or if he is just embarrassed to fall on his own. Whatever it is iksun tried her best to hide her smile incase she will make him even more uneasy.
Later then they brought the boy to infirmary and there iksun applied bam to her scratches and also gave junwan a small plaster. After setting down the issue iksun came infront of the school to go home, when suddenly junwan came after her and told her that he will bring her home as it's quite late now. Iksun had no reason to reject it, so she just nodded. And that was just the start.
Next day during the lunch break, junwan came back to iksun's classroom and gave her a small bandage and a ice popsical asking her if she is okay now to which iksun replied with small yes to which he nodded and left. This continued for 3 more days which made iksun smile into her sleep every night thinking how cute he really is.
Next day when junwan came back with the same plaster and popsicle iksun decided to talk.
"Junwan oppa, my scratches are all healed now. See. So stop bringing me plasters." Iksun said showing off her palm and her face. They have actually healed to the point no one can see she was hurt few days back.
"Ok then. Hm. Be careful" junwan just nodded and went back. It was last time junwan talked to iksun before another time junwan came looking ikjun asking for his one of book and as he was going to leave, he dropped a popsicle beside iksun who was sitting on the floor reading her books. Very last time iksun saw junwan was during their graduation and after that all iksun heard was that he was selected to the best university with her brother and that he will also leave to seoul with him.
When iksun met him again after many years in the hospital, she wasn't surprised at all to see him visiting her already 5 times a day, of course he was the same boy who brought a plaster and a popsicle everyday when she just scratched her hands.
Reminiscing their memories together while kissing him after her proposal only made iksun think that fate and life really work in a mysterious way.

As they promised, iksun and junwan got married two months later, in which the day ikjun almost cried as he couldn't hide his happiness for his best friend and his own sister. Junwan looked pretty nervous and iksun looked super beautiful and for ikjun it was a very overwhelmed day. The blissful day ended as they both promised to be eachother's forever this time infront of god and their loved ones. Ikjun swears after junwan and iksun got married everything in their lives started going well. And yes, it wouldn't be a big lie too.
One year later they got married, iksun and junwan became parents to a baby girl, in the same year few months earlier jeongwon also became a father like twins giving birth to their kids on the same year. Gyeoul gave birth to twins, a girl and boy where Jeongwon literally the one of the best peadiactric surgeon in korea, cried inside the delivery room saying he can't hold them incase he'd drop them. Gyeoul wished she'd come and hit jeongwon on head if she could get up after giving birth, but still she knew he'd be this way, as she knows better than anybody else how much being a father and having his own babies means to him. Ikjun on otherhand was ready to give sweets to whole hospital announcing that he is going to be god father to two babies. Songhwa, junwan and seokhyung was really happy to see jeongwon finally holding his own babies, it was such a heartwarming moment. Later when iksun gave birth to a baby girl, ikjun was just one step away from holding a whole concert in the hospital lobby, which was able to be stopped thanks to songhwa's power over him. During the same year, in the autumn, seokhyung got remarried to minha and as you guess it was not a small wedding. Actually seokhyung planned for a small wedding to which minha also agreed but seokhyung's mom insisted that they will give her a grand wedding in exchange of her not getting into their married life again. In contrast to them, early in the next year, songhwa and ikjun got married in a small outdoor wedding which of course with uju as the ring boy eventhough he was quite big for it. Later ikjun had asked songhwa if she would like to have their own baby, a sibling to uju, to which songhwa replied with uju is her kid and she is fine only with him but of course ikjun made a mental note to definitely give songhwa her own baby before it's not too late.
With the time all 5 of them kind of settled down with their own families, just few years ago they were alone with different life aims but here they are now living a life they never dreamt before yet happier than they did ever imagined to be. With their married life and parent life coming into the equation, having band practices always became quite farfetched. But unlike the last time, they decided not to disband and play whenever they can have a get together, definitely like when they celebrate birthdays and small other occasions. Their small group of 5 has extended to become a group of 8 and then a group of 14, that smiles, laughs and chaos whenever they get together have increased infinitely.
To say that they lived happily always would be little ideal, but whatever they had to go through during the day, good or bad, at the end of the day they were definitely happy as they were together, not alone.
Just the way iksun and junwan promised, jeongwon and gyeoul also promised to be eachother's solace until the very end, ikjun and songhwa also promised to stay together no matter what, like they always have been and seokhyung and minha also promised to look after eachother with love and care until death do apart them. Them, with their loved ones, lived happily ever after, together, for ever.
"Appa, what's the best thing happened to you?"
"Hmm lot of good things happened. If we say all started with one thing, hm..so the best thing happened was,
your mom."
