Chapter 11: More?

Chapter Text

Asami pulled the blanket to her chest and sighed. She ran a hand through her sweat drenched hair.

"Spirits, Korra, that was incredible," She said with a satisfied smile.

"I aim to please," The detective said with a chuckle as she sat on the edge of the bed.

Asami moved to Korra and kissed her shoulder. Korra chuckled and turned to kiss Asami's cheek.

"You were pretty incredible yourself, Miss Sato."

"Why are you getting up?" Asami asked.

Korra raised an eyebrow. "Did you not want to put something on?"

Asami ran her fingers up and down Korra's side. "Who said I was done with you?"

"Oh, well, in that case," Korra said as she pinned Asami on the bed quickly.

The teacher chuckled as Korra's lips traced down her neck. Asami rolled them over quickly and pinned Korra's hands above her head.

"I love you, so much," Asami said. She let go of Korra's hands and traced her fingers down Korra's face. "How did I get so lucky?"

"I'm the lucky one," Korra said as her fingers moved to Asami's engagement necklace. "I get to spend the rest of my life with you."

"Do you want to have more children?" Asami asked suddenly.

"More?" Korra propped herself up as Asami slid of off her. "I mean, I wasn't even planning on Shila."

"I just didn't know. My dad kind of stuck the idea in my head," Asami said. "We can raise the idea to Shila if you're alright with that."

"I think she might like the idea of a brother or sister," Korra said as Asami laid next to her. "With your family, we probably wouldn't have to worry about finances. I'm not used to that."

Asami chuckled. "At least we're good for something."

"Oh, hush," Korra scolded. "I love you."

"I know, I'm just teasing."

Korra ran her fingers up and down Asami's stomach. The teacher giggled and snuggled closer. Asami bit her lip as Korra's hand dipped lower.

"Oh, that's not fair," Asami gasped out.

Korra smirked. "I love watching your face when we're together."

Asami moaned as Korra's fingers moved back and forth. The teacher pushed Korra on her back. She wiggled her eyebrows seductively as she slipped under the covers.

"How do you want your eggs, sweetie?" Asami asked as Shila rubbed the sleep from her eyes.

"Scrambled," Shila said with a yawn. She crawled up into a chair and reached for the juice that had been waiting for her.

"You got it," Asami paused and smiled. She moved to Shila and kissed the top of her head. "I love you."

"Love you, too, Mama," Shila said. "Does Mommy have to go to work today?"

"She does, so it's just going to be us today," Asami said as she cracked eggs.

Shila nodded sleepily. "Why don't we have school?"

"It's a national holiday," Asami said. "But Mommy has to go in for a bit to do some paperwork. Do you want to do flashcards today?"

"Sure," Shila said.

"How are my two favorite girls?" Korra asked as she came in the kitchen.

Asami chuckled. "I'm just making breakfast and Shila is about to fall asleep in her juice."

"Well, after she eats I'm sure she could go back to bed for a bit."

The teacher turned and nodded. "Heck, I even might. I didn't really get a lot of sleep last night."

Korra grinned and kissed Asami's neck. "I have fond memories of last night."

"Oh, so do I, but I still didn't get much sleep," Asami said with a chuckle.

"Well, I've never felt more refreshed. Waking up next to the most beautiful woman in the world and getting to see my little girl. I hate to leave, but I should be home in a few hours," Korra said as she moved to Shila and bent down to kiss her cheek.

"Do you want something to eat before you go?" Asami asked. "I made more than enough."

Korra smiled to herself. "You know, I think I will. A nice family breakfast."

Shila smiled and kissed Korra's cheek.

Korra sighed happily and leaned back in her chair. Mako raised an eyebrow in amusement at his partner.

"You look like you're in a good mood," He said as he sipped his coffee.

"Our families are happy for us, I woke up next to Asami after a passionate night with her, and we sat down to a nice family breakfast," Korra said with a satisfied smirk.

"Damn, Korra, you hit the jackpot," Mako said with a hint of jealousy.

Korra nodded. "I know, right? So, I am going to wrap up this paperwork as quickly as I can so I can be home with my family."

"I'm glad to see you finally have some focus in your family life, Korra."

Mako and Korra turned to see Lin Beifong leaning in the doorframe of her office.

"Chief, what're you doing here? Mako and I are just wrapping up some paperwork," Korra said.

Lin nodded and pushed off the doorframe. "I'm aware, I just came in to finish up my own work. Since it's a long weekend, I'm going to see family in Zaofu. I want things finished before then. I'm glad you have a family to spend the holiday with."

"Thank you, Chief. Asami is one heck of a woman, she really brought our family together," Korra said.

Lin chuckled softly. "Well, then you two better get your work done if you want to go home for the holiday."

Asami stretched in bed and rolled on her side. She smiled as Shila snuggled into her side. She glanced at the digital clock on the nightstand and raised her eyebrows. She had not meant to sleep this late into the afternoon.

She sat up as she heard the front door open. A few moments later the bedroom door opened slowly and Asami held a finger to her lips as Korra poked her head into the room.

"She asleep?" Asami nodded as Korra slipped in. "I've never done paperwork so quickly."

Asami chuckled. "Well, I'm just glad we can have an early afternoon together."

"Yeah, although I think you and Shila might have the right idea," Korra said stifling a yawn.

"Then get in here and keep us warm," Asami said with a wink.

"Let me change real quick and I'll slid right in," Korra said.

Asami laid back down and pulled Shila to her. Korra changed into her sleep clothes and gently slid in the bed and snuggled behind Shila.

"We won't be able to sleep tonight," Asami mumbled as she yawned.

"Then we can stay up late and watch movers," Korra said. "It's a long weekend and it's just the three of us."

Asami smiled as her eyes slid shut; Korra sighed happily and shut her own eyes.
