Chapter Text

Ericka tightened her hold anyway, no matter how loud Savannah was choking. They dropped to their knees. Savannah's loud gags became quieter and weaker. Eventually, they became small pitiful whimpers. Ericka loosened her hold. Savannah did nothing, her eyes were glazed over. Ericka pressed two fingers to Savannah's neck, her pulse was slowing at a alarming rate until... it stopped. All they fire surrounding her faded as she started crying out loud. She wasn't only sad, she was mad too. Before she broke down entirely, she stood up and screamed as loud as she could, "NOOOOOO!" Her body let out a wave of fire to express how mad she was. Drac had to run up the stairwell to avoid the burst of fire. As soon as it was save he went back down the stair and knelt next to Ericka. He also put a hand over Nicholas's face so he couldn't see anything. She was crying so hard, there was a small puddle on the floor right in front of Savannah.

"You.. you didn't need to kill her." He said.

"I-I couldn't trust her." She choked out, her tears pooling in her eyes.

He touched her cheek. "You not warm anymore." He said. She suddenly looked alarmed and slapped her hand onto her forehead.

"Your right." She said. She now looked more confused than sad.

"Did you lose your fire?" He asked. she put her hand on top of his.

"No.." She said, "I still have fire in my heart.... for you." They put their heads together. But before they could kiss, Nicholas interrupted.

"Ewwwwwwwww!" He said, covering his eyes. They silently laughed. They both stood up.

"So..."Drac said, "What do we do with Savannah?"

"…I know." She said. She picked Savanna up and they left the secret bunker and went back to the hotel. She picked a good spot on a cliff near the hotel to dig the grave. When she finished putting the dirt back in place, she found a tall rock. She engraved, SAVANNAH  I KNOW LITERALLY NOTHING ABOUT HER. And she put it on top of the grave. They said nothing, just started walking back towards the hotel. Waiting for the next adventure to begin...

End of Solar Eclipse.

Next Book: Quest For The Phoenix

Notes:

You made it to the end of hell, congrats.

The next book is slightly better, but still has rookie mistakes.

Things don’t really start to get better until the second act.

Notes:

Yeah I know this story sucks but it is fairly old and I wrote it when I had sun poisoning in the middle of a summer camp. You have to suffer through this story to get to the good stuff.

Also I knew nothing about how to actually word my story, so I use ‘said’ a lot. It’s a rookie mistake, I know.
