My Younghyun,
Am I still allowed to call you that? It's been two months, yet there are still days when I would wake up, confused, wondering where I am and why my pillows lack that familiar scent you carry. If I close my eyes hard enough, I could almost hear the faint clang of pots and plates, and the slow sweet melody you love to hum when you're happy. I've been humming it a lot, my fellow soldiers are starting to tease me about it. I miss you.
I finally saw the scar on my back today. My first thought was "oh boy, Younghyun's going to pass out once he sees this."
Will you? Will you ever see the map like scar that would remind us of lives and time lost? Will I ever see you again? I hope you do. I don't care how much scolding you'll give mea, I don't care if you make me do all the chores around the village, you can make me sleep outside with all the mosquitos I hate so much and I'll sleep with a smile on my face knowing that the only thing separating us is a thin wooden door.
Things are getting rougher around here. I want to see you. I really really want to see you.
