The next day, Ushijima, Tendou and you decided to go and catch up to a nearby coffee shop.
“Satori, I told you it was okay!” Chuckling at his sudden perplexed eyes you continue to try and ease his worries. “I really liked the chocolate ring! I swear” but it wasn’t enough to stop him from continuing his long speech and explanations to Ushijima.
“Waka-kun, I knew the ring would only last so long being made out of chocolate, and I have everything planned out.”
When Ushijima heard how Tendou had proposed to you, he couldn’t understand why giving you something to eat in an instant was the right way to say forever.
So, because of that anecdote, Ushijima was telling Tendou how a chocolate ring wasn’t meant to be used for a proposal. After all, you ended up eating it in one bite back then when it happened. You all knew the ring wouldn’t last. Everyone knows that Tendou’s chocolates were always the best.
“The meaning! Waka-Kun, it’s the meaning. Anyway, I get what you’re trying to say but believe me, I have everything planned out. Besides, the Eiffel Tower’s top restaurant was only available in April.”
“Hold on, Tori-kun. I read there are some available tables next week if you wanna go” you didn’t understand why wait till April. Giving it a second thought, Tendou has connections, and the last time you checked, he was friends with the head chef at Le Jules Verne.
“I don’t want a table” Tendou was smiling even more than before and swinging his arms. “I booked the whole place.”
Ushijima seemed not to understand what Tendou was implying and neither were you.
“You did what?!” Just for a dinner night. What in the world was he thinking. Each seat per person was about $250. You were gonna pass out.
“Don’t worry too much” Now it was his turn to ease your mind. “You just need to wait”
