Chapter Text

A man wearing a black hoodie and hands tucked into black track pants, walked down the streets of Mustafa, admiring the sights. 'It's all fixed... everything's back to normal' He thought to himself, admiring how peaceful the people surrounding him were, how much greenery lined the streets, how the Heroes patrolled as they waved to the civilians...

…How oblivious they were to the walking cataclysm amongst them.

Don't get him wrong, a sight like this would've been heart-warming. "Life returning to what used to be ruined" and all that, but after everything he's done, everything he's experienced... the blood on his hands soured the experience.

But now? The world was back, the Quirk worked and he brought everything back to the way it was before U.A.

Once he'd arrived in the repaired city, he quickly got to work carving his way through the Shie Hassaikai. The kid with Rewind even escaped early because of his meddling, that news was slightly relieving the guilt of last time, but he had no idea where she was now, but he didn't need to know, and hopefully he won't have to track her down again.

The hooded man stopped as he thought about the Yakuza gang, or more accurately their leader. Overhaul was injured before he even reached him, his hands missing and being experimented on to fix it. He had no clue what series of events caused this, had his interference really butterflied into that? The white-haired man shook his head, they were dealt with, now the only figures who stood in his way to power were The League, The Liberation Army, and the Hero Commission.

'But no-one can stand in my way' The figure was taken out of time though, looking into his scarred reflection in the glass of a clothing store. He mindlessly ran a finger over the edge of his scar until he reached his chin, jumping to the stitching in his neck.

*CRACK! BOOM!*

The figure froze mid-step, turning to the source of the sound, the people around him mimicking his action. Above U.A, dark clouds loomed as lightning trickled out of the clouds, the end of the torrent that had to have happened to cause such a sound.

"Huh..." The figure hummed, glaring at the U.A building. "I don't remember that"

"SHIT!"

Izuku jolted in place, his chest burning a little like the feeling of aftershocks shook his body despite the chill still clinging to him. He gasped desperately as he rolled onto his stomach, coughing as his head thrummed with a headache.

"Woah, dude!"

"Oh, Thank God!"

"Calm down, mister, stop moving"

The electromancer heaved as multiple voices barraged him, hands grabbing his back and trying to hold him in place. Izuku blinked rapidly trying to take in as much information as he could.

An elderly woman patted his back while watching him with a scrutinizing gaze, Uraraka was holding him clearly concerned, and finally, there was a light-haired guy with a streak in the shape of a lightning bolt who just hovered behind in a state of shock.

Everything looked like it was in black and white, leaving behind a blur as everything in his vision moved, and he could oddly see and feel the nervous system of everyone around him.

"Well done, Young Man," The elderly woman said with sarcasm almost dripping from her lips. "You almost killed yourself during a school test"

"W-What?" Izuku coughed as he looked down to his chest, he was met with a missing shirt and two rectangular marks marring his skin. On the ground a little away from him was a defibrillator. "Did... Did my heart stop?"

"Pretty much, you electric Quirk users' hearts are usually connected to your electrical generation or storage, and it looks like you used up everything you had," The elderly woman said with a gesture to his right. Looking to where she was looking revealed a crater with metal slag and molten concrete, remnants of lightning arcing between piles of metal scrap.

"I did that?" He asked no one, pushing himself up to get a better view. There was no way that he caused all of that, even with One For All enhancing his Quirk.

"Yep, pulled the lightning outta the sky and did it all while still having enough energy to check up on her" The guy answered. "You gotta teach me how to control my electricity like yours" He tacked on, walking over and giving him a friendly slap on the back.

Izuku hissed a little at the contact, his body still a little sore and his skin covered lightly in electrical burns. "Ah, sorry man!" The guy apologized.

"Fine" Izuku mumbled, gently rubbing his back. "I'll be fine, are there any spare robots around? I need a refill" He asked, looking around. The only robots he could see were either destroyed or the two approaching them with a stretcher.

"That kid better not drain us" A robotic voice spoke aloud, Izuku could feel the electricity coursing through them, so much more than the people around him.

"Nah, we should be-" The other robot responded but was cut off when Izuku reached towards it, the energy within it arcing out of its frame and into his.

The colour bled back into the world and the tingling sense of nearby electricity subdued. Izuku took a deep breath as the world returned to normal, ignoring the panicked chattering from the remaining robot.

"That's a bit better," He said, standing up and dusting his pants off. Though he could feel something was missing, his hand travelled to his back to find his weapon missing. "But where's my Amp?" he asked, looking around.

Uraraka walked over to him carrying the device he was looking for, holding it out for him to take. "It fell off when you collapsed" She mumbled.

The electromancer gave her a bright smile as he took it from her, attempting to hook it onto his back but realizing the holster for it was also missing. "Thanks for grabbing it, and for staying behind, you didn't have to" He thanked, twirling the Amp in his hand instead.

"Oh, uhh" she fumbled with her words, her already pink cheeks darkening. "I-It's fine, you saved me so I had to make sure you were alright" She explained quickly, her gaze firmly locked on the ground and avoiding looking at him.

Izuku raised a brow at her behaviour, but then remember his current state of undress. "You don't have to be embarrassed, you're not the first girl that's seen me shirtless and I doubt you'll be the last" He chuckled.

Uraraka looked at him, but with even darker cheeks and widened eyes. "What?!" She squeaked loudly.

The electromancer stepped back at her outburst, replaying what he said in his head. "That came out wrong, It's just that I've trained with my friend who's a girl and I'll probably be training with even more in U.A" He corrected.

"O-Oh" Uraraka squeaked as she brought down her blush and raised her thoughts from the gutter. "Umm, sh-should we go get you another shirt?"

Izuku looked down at his chest once again but shook his head. "Nah, no point unless they've got a holster" He waved off the question, he'd be returning home immediately so he didn't really care.

"You wanna come with me and meet my friends? They might be your future classmates?" Izuku asked as he turned to leave.

Uraraka sputtered, a mixture of an agreement to join and a denial of her guaranteed success as she quickly jolted into following.

"Don't be so hard on yourself, you were awesome out there..." He complimented, withholding another thought. 'And for some reason, I feel like we're supposed to be close'

The two continued down the faux city, Izuku praising her on her tactics and skill with her Quirk until he finally decided to bring something up.

"Oh, and, can you not tell my friends that my heart stopped?"

"Fuck me" Katsuki growled as he looked around the entrance of U.A. Deku's dumbass was shirtless and was walking and talking with Pink Cheeks from this morning. "Deku! The fuck was with all that lightning!"

Deku had the nerve to smile at Katsuki as he simply waved. "Hey, Kacchan! You remember Uraraka?" He asked instead, ignoring the blond's question.

"I don't care!" Katsuki barked in response. "Since when were you able to use that kinda firepower?!" His palms were crackling with tiny explosions to emphasize his annoyance at being left in the dark.

"Since today" Deku responded, still smiling. "C'mon, let's head to my house, I need a new shirt" The electromancer passed by Katsuki, waving him to follow before immediately re-engaging in whatever conversation he had been in with Pink Cheeks.

Katsuki clicked his tongue, but knew that he wasn't going to get answers now, he'd most likely hear about it when Icy-Hot and Daddy issues were with them.

"Anyway, I've been trying to use my Quirk to achieve something kinda like yours and just wanted to know if you get any feelings or something when you use your Quirk" Deku rambled.

"Like mine?" Pink Cheeks repeated.

"Yeah! Well, kinda? You remove the gravitational pull the earth has on objects, I'll just be polarizing objects and the air around it to lift things" Deku explained, spinning his stupid weapon as he walked. "I can already sorta glide with my Quirk, but being able to lift other objects or people could help me in rescue situations"

"Really? I'm planning to become a rescue Hero! So, yeah! I'll try to help any way I can!" She responded with a resolute nod.

Katsuki took another reevaluation of Pink Cheeks, the fire in her eyes something he hadn't expected of such a soft looking girl, but as long as she could keep up with them he couldn't care less if she hung around the nerd, just as long as they keep the doe-eyes to themselves and prove to be worthy rivals.

Back in Mustafa, the scarred electromancer entered a condemned building with a bag slung around one arm. "Hmm, this'll do" He mumbled as he inspected the room, now that he was finished hunting the Shie Hassakai he needed a base of operations.

Things seemed to be quite different from what he remembers, so he'd need a few days to check if his arrival had any side effects. Putting the bag down, he pulled two items from it. One a laptop he snagged from some random dude, which he set aside as he grabbed the next item.

One of the only things he'd been able to bring through the jump.

The metal handle and prongs were dented and even had a slight amount of rust clinging to it, after Stain he didn't really tend to the contraption as much as he should have. Though to his credit he was preoccupied with other matters. He gently set aside his trusty weapon as he brought the laptop back in front of him. He'd need to research the latest couple of weeks to make sure his appearance hadn't fucked up anything big.

First, he'd start with the catalyst of his troubles... putting on some rubber gloves, the man turned on the laptop. The screen displaying a familiar yet opposite scene. A street lined with ice with a towering, green slime man holding someone hostage.

'Though one thing stayed the same, the 'Heroes' still weren't doing anything' He thought bitterly, scrolling through the article. 'Who ended up in your spot, huh?' He wondered as he continued reading. 'Midoriya Izuku' had stepped in to save... 'One of the Todoroki's, huh'

This change probably wasn't going to alter anything, as long as Izuku caught All Might's attention then everything should be on track. The man closed the laptop and looked out a window, a good vantage point on the mountain U.A sat atop.

"Looks like I'll be waiting on you, huh? I'll be seeing you soon"

Power Loader scratched his helmet in confusion, he'd been checking over the Support Course Prospect's Work but came across something that wasn't listed. A small contraption that resembled handcuffs but with a metal cord connecting them, one of the cuffs held a glass orb in it that contained a red substance and lead through the cord to the other.

He turned it over whilst double checking the list, as he did he noticed a tiny brand on the other cuff, the letter 'H' with a smaller 'inc' beneath it contained inside a hexagon. As he looked over the list he saw a name that stuck with him.

'Hatsume Mei'

He remebered the odd way her files were filled out, including the multiple doodles and rambling that had been on her papers. Power Loader moved to his desk and shifted the papers atop it looking for the girls file, once he found it, he quickly skimmed it and observed the multiple doodles. The ones that weren't project ideas, were branding ideas, one of which matched the one that adorned the mystery device.

'She might've accidentally left this one behind with her invention, she's a shoe-in for the support course so I'll return it when she gets in' He decided, placing it in one of his drawers seperate from the others.

On the beach of Dagobah, as the waves crashed against the sand, a basketball sized metal ball rolled onto shore, the two halves of the metal ball were connected by an array of electrical cables and silicon boards. It emitted a blue glow and several lights around the silicon boards. At the top of the sphere was a small dip with a light in the center. Its size and appearance not giving way to the destructive and dangerous potential it contained.

The sound of crunching sand grew as heavy boots stomped closer to the object, a man wearing a brown coat and pants, the stranger kneeling down and picking up the device, their right hand's palm completely scarred over and his left arm entirely mechanical. The device was lifted to eye level, the elderly mans face covered by a brown hood and cowl, leaving only a singular red eye exposed with the other side of his face mostly covered in scar tissue.

"I've found you..." The man wheezed, pushing himself back up. He'd aided the Heroes when he could to amend for what he must do, the world would forgive him. "...This... is the only way... to Win..."
