They haven't spoken in over a week since Namjoon met Yoongi. He was preoccupied with the papers that had been piling up on his desk. While Jimin interrogates him about how he knows the new professor. Jimin has no idea that the guy he dated in the past was Yoongi.
"Good afternoon Hyung!!" He was startled by a loud voice beside him. "Jimin, what are you doing inside my classroom?"
"To gossip duh" He groaned.
"Anyway, about Yoongi-- I mean Mr. Min"
"I don't have time for this" Jimin ignored his comment and continue to ask lots of question.
Namjoon actually has a lot of questions for Yoongi. He is aware that reincarnation is possible, but he did not expect to see him again, days after he left him and the people who had been a part of his life. Or Yoongi is a time traveler too??
He doesn’t know and he doesn’t have courage to approach him. Namjoon doesn’t know if Yoongi hates him because of what happened between them, if Yoongi still has the same feelings for him as Namjoon does.
"He started teaching here 1 week before you arrived here from the past life so how do you know him?" Namjoon just watches his friends making assumption about him and the new professor.
"I don't know why Mr. Min said nice to see you again. When did--- OHMYGOD WHAT IF HE WAS FROM THE PAST LIFE?" He quickly hushed Jimin before he look around if someone was there listening to them.
"I told you we will talk about it later"
"So I'm right?" He just shrugged as an answer and that's enough for Jimin to understand.
"Yes you are right but here is not a great place to talk about it" He says. He looks to his friend who is frozen in his spot, maybe he really needs to tell him everything so he can avoid Jimin freaking out.
That night, he brought Jimin to his apartment to explain what occurred in 1980, why he knows Yoongi, and his other friends, Hoseok, Seokjin, Taehyung, and Jung Kook. He misses them every day, and he knows they're already in the past, which means they're either dead or, if they're lucky, reincarnated. This is the consequence of his ability. Yes, he can travel again, but he can't because he's guilty.
“Do you believe you'll be able to run into them again here? Based on your story, they seem to be great."
“They are great yeah. So I’m hoping” He looks up, trying to stop his tears from falling down.
Even when Jimin already left hours ago, Namjoon is still awake, thinking about the conversation with his friend. Maybe he regretted talking it right now because the pain in his chest is still not healed. Especially Min Yoongi, who has a bigger effect on him.
He isn't sure if he would ever move on after meeting Yoongi just a week ago. Yoongi appears to be avoiding him; whenever Namjoon tries to talk to him, he always finds a way to end the discussion.
In fact, their relationship did not actually end in 1900. Namjoon recalls that they just said their goodbyes, but it doesn't mean their relationship is over, so he wants to speak with Yoongi.
When his phone rang, he assumed it was only Jimin on the other end of the line, so he ignored it and forced himself to sleep.

Namjoon is walking slowly in the campus while holding his coffee, he didn’t get enough sleep last night and he has 7am class today. When he arrived in front of classroom, he was shocked by a person appeared behind him.
“Good morning, Mr. Kim”
“Good morning, Mr. Min” He awkwardly greets back.
He got confused when Yoongi started looking around so he did the same, he doesn’t even know why he did that, there’s no other professors or students in the hallway.
He furrowed his eyebrows “Is there a problem, Mr. Min?”
“Namjoon, can we talk?”
“W-what?”
“About what happened in 1900” Yoongi is now standing in front of him, his face indicating that he hasn't had enough sleep. He has eye bugs, and his eyes looks sleepy.
“Hyung”
“Namjoon, please”
“I have class” Namjoon says even though he was fighting himself to agree and talk to him right now. Like he is ready to forget his responsibility this morning, but he can’t. It’s so sudden, he doesn’t know if he’s ready.
“After your class? I’ll wait you in the rooftop” He doesn’t have a chance to reply when Yoongi walk away from him.

3 hours after
His first is finally done. Honestly, he was distracted the whole time because of Yoongi and that he wants to talk.
But he’s here now, in front of the door of the rooftop. He feels nervous, knowing that Yoongi is waiting for him. He holds his breath as he open it slowly, the wind is the first thing that greets him.
When he finally enters, he saw him sitting in one of the benches there.
“Yoongi Hyung” He called him.
“Namjoon, you are here. I’ve been waiting for you, wondering if you also wanted to talk” Yoongi smiles at him and pat the chair beside him.
“You’ve been waiting for me?”
“Yeah, I said I would wait for you. I know your first class ends at 10am” Yoongi says “Don’t ask me how I found out”
“You’re crazy” Namjoon jokes, attempting to lighten the mood.
They both fall into silent. Yoongi, like Namjoon, has no idea how to start a conversation. The only thing they can hear are the leaves dancing in the wind, and the sky is dark, implying that rain will arrive at any moment.
"So-" Namjoon finally looks at Yoongi who spoke first "The reason why I wanted to talk to you, about you being a time traveler"
"Hmm"
"I still don't understand why did you that? Why did you visit the past life? Then lied to me and left just like that"
"Yoongi Hyung I'm so sorry I lied to you, it was not my intention to hurt you" His voice rasps as he apologize again.
"I know Namjoon" Yoongi smiles sadly "You didnt know what happened to me that day so I'm telling you now"
"When you left, of course I was heartbroken. Seokjin Hyung was asking me about you and I couldn't answer him, our friends were asking about you and I don't know if I should lie or tell them the truth"
"Did you tell them the truth?"
"Yeah and they asked if you would visit them again "
"I could visit you anytime but my guilt is eating me everytime I think about how I miss you and our friends"
"Just you know, they were not dissapointed at you. They missed you too"
"B-but how-- were you reincarnated?"
"Yes" Yoongi nods
"But I couldnt remember about us, about what happened in 1900 before. One day I woke up and suddenly I remember my past life, working in a publishing company and how I met you"
"I'm sorry" Namjoon can only reply to him in two words. He wants to explain himself, but he can't find any other words to say.
"I started looking for you, I used social media and even asked my friends to find you and so I did, good thing I’m a professor too”
"You know I never regretted I met you, it's the best thing that happened to me but our time there was not right" Namjoon confessed
"Everyday I'm thinking about us... if ever you exist here, you'll still remember me and the feelings you have for me"
"It's still you, Namjoon. My feelings never changed"
"I'm happy to hear that because my feelings haven't changed either; I still like you Hyung, and even though hundreds of years have passed, you're still the person I want to spend the rest of my life with."
"I hope we have a chance to be together in our next life too"
"We will find a way"
"So, will you ask me now to be your boyfriend or what?"
Namjoon looks at him, he couldnt believe what he just heard. Yoongi is still the same guy he met in 1900, well people change even if they are reincarnated. Such a straightforward individual.
"I thought you just wanted to talk about us and what happened in 1900"
"Maybe I want to change the subject now Namjoon" Yoongi sighs "I know we didn't have a proper break up but---- you're so annoying. I dont want to explain anymore"
"Then, why am I the one who should ask you?" Namjoon smirks.
"Why do you have so many questions? Just ask me"
"Fine fine fine" Namjoon lets out a gentle laugh. He takes Yoongi's hand in his and brings it to his lips, kissing it. "Will you be my boyfriend, Hyung?"
Yoongi smiles, the gummy smile he loves. He really missed him.
"Of course boyfriend" Yoongi wrapped his arms to Namjoon's waist and put his head on his chest "I waited hundred years for this to happen again"
“Let’s have a date in a ramen shop?”
“You still remember that promise?”
"Of course” Namjoon says and hug Yoongi tightly “I'll make sure I fulfill my promise to you."
“That’s so sweet”
What happened in 1900, stays in that year. They both have new lives and new obstacles to face, but they can overcome them together and build memories that will live on in their hearts forever.
"I love you, Yoongi Hyung"
"I love you too, my Joonie"
