Chapter Text
“Hello sir, you always seem to come at this time.” I always hated how much I would love to see him. He always seemed so nice, that's how I fell into his trap. “Well, this is the only time I can get coffee.” His voice was warm. I liked how it sounded, it was like a blanket surrounding me.”Is there any more stories, mister? I never have enough to pay for books.” Being poor at times like these was hard. Never having enough for fun and barely having enough for food. Starving on a cold night was horrible, no warmth ever came from my stomach and neither from my blankets. I sometimes thought I would die like that, curled up in a small blanket with no friends or family to mourn me. “Hahaha always so eager to hear a good old story huh? Well I guess there are a few.” I miss the times where I could hear his stories so full of adventure, I always wondered how it would feel to be like those people. Would I have children by now I wonder? Instead of being in this place would I have a warm home? Would I have friends to tell stories to? “Well mister, please do tell me while i make your coffee.” it was always the same but i always wondered what it tasted like.”well okay. This time i…….”.
