Chapter Text

The animatronics went to Roxy's raceway, they had found a way for DJ Music Man to come with them as well, as he had his own elevator to get to the mainstage. It was used only twice. Once for their grand entrance, and again for their 5 year anniversary.

Once In Roxy’s raceway, they started to walk around. Trying to find the place to get to this supposed underground nightmare. Freddy had to use Roxy's eyes a few more times before they found the entrance to get to said underground.

It was a gate marked as a restricted area.

Gregory was about to go in before Bonnie pulled him back. He looked up at his other father, tilting his head. "I'm sorry, but. I just have a bad feeling about this. Maybe we should explore a bit more? Maybe think this over a bit more?" Bonnie said almost in a pleading tone.

Gregory thought about it.

If he looks around, maybe he can find some more things to help him out. Maybe even figure out Freddy's own upgrade.

He looked up at Bonnie then the others, before making up his mind.

"How much longer do we have until everyone goes looking for you guys?"

"Give or take about 45 minutes." Roxy scuffed, crossing her arms. " Good. Gives us about 10 to 15 minutes to talk about what we should be doing next. Everyone please get into a circle."

Everyone nodded before getting into a circle. Gregory sat next to Freddy, who put a hand on his lap. Looking at him with love and trust.

"So we all know we're going to go down there, and possibly throw hands with whatever messes with your code, but I'm still afraid that he may get to you all still." Gregory started out, gripping onto one of Freddy's fingers.

"If you are worried about the others getting corrupted again. We can stay up here with DJ Music Man, it may also be for the best that we do." Bonnie said, placing a hand behind Gregory's back, rubbing it up and down in a soothing manner.

"I,, are you guys sure you'll be OK up here?" He asked tilting his head at Bonnie, before looking around at the other animatronics he came to know as his family.

"Ya we are OK with staying up here Stardust." Sun said, reaching over Freddy to pat his head. Gregory huffed at that, removing Sun's hand off his hair to fix it.

This caused the other animatronics to laugh at his childlike manner.

"So we're all in agreement to stay up in Roxy's raceway while Gregory and Freddy go down?" Foxy asked, looking around at everyone who was nodding.

"Then it's settled. Well stay here."

" Well that was quick, I guess I can finally do what I need to do. Freddy, can I access your upgrade?" Gregory turned towards his dad.

Freddy nodes to his Shooting Star, laying down on his front, to give Gregory better access to where his Upgrade would be at.

Gregory accessed the back of Freddy's head and looked for any misplaced wires, and there it was. It looked almost connected with another part hanging off. It was the same purple wire that was connected to the other upgrades.

Gregory pulled it out, making sure not to accidentally pull any other wires, before inspecting it once, he knew it was useless so he threw it into the trash. Then re reconnected the wires to there respective ports.

The moment it was in, and the hatch was closed Freddy's ears immediately twitched every witch way.

"Freddy?" Gregory asked. Did he accidentally do something wrong? "I'm sorry Shooting Star. I'm fine. It is just. Everything is much louder."

"Louder? How?" Gregory asked, tilting his head. " I can hear far away as if I was standing right in front of it."

"What's the farthest can you hear right now?"

Freddy blinked, before allowing his ears to turn each way, before looking towards where the front entrance was. "I can hear the first car rolling into the parking lot. The music they are playing is loud. It must be Maintenance Covert. He always listens to music at full volume."

"OK so that is our cue to leave, but before I do that." Gregory said, before getting up and hugging all of the animatronics goodbye.

Each giving their own encouragement to the child that has stolen their animatronic hearts.

"We'll be waiting for you Cub."

" Stay safe down there Kit

" Come back to us safely, Cupcake."

"Don't make me come down there to save your sorry ass Pup."

" Were rootin' for you Pup, make ya pops proud."

" Be safe my Stardust! Also Moon says to be careful down there."

" Don't let your light die, Spotlight. You have the means to protect yourself, use what you have. "

Gregory nodes at them all before going back to Freddy, who stood up. He followed Gregory down the stairs. Destroying the locked gate that was in their way.

As they walked for a couple of more feet Freddy and Gregory came up to an elevator, both could see that it looked unstable and would possibly survive only one trip.

"Gregory. I do not think this elevator meets the required safety measures, I'm afraid it will only last a trip down, but I could be wrong and we could get lucky." Freddy said to his cub. Wanting to make sure Gregory was 100% alright with that.

"That's OK. We can get back up here right?"

"Yes. If not the elevator, I see a path that leads to the outside. If it comes to that we need to use it, we can use the tunnel to the outside then come back to the Pizza Plex."

"OK. Let's get going." Gregory hummed, before grabbing Freddy's hand, squeezing it to calm his nerves, before touching the button to open the elevator, then touching the button inside the elevator to make it go down.

They were in the elevator for quite some time. The whole time Gregory never let go of Freddy's hand. As bad thought after bad thought came through his head.

What if he died? What if this was his last moment with his family?

"You are very brave, you know that Shooting star." Gregory was cut out of his nightmare by Freddy’s voice, he whipped his head up to look at his animatronic dad.

"I am glad you were stuck in here. If you hadn't, I wouldn't have saved my friends, I wouldn't have been able to see Foxy and Bonnie again. So thank you Gregory. Thank you for being trapped, thank you for not leaving when you had the chance. I am glad to call you my son."

Gregory tried desperately to wipe away the tears that never wanted to go away. Freddy hummed, picking the crying Gregory up, and held him close to his chest. Rubbing his back in a soothing manner.

The moment the elevator doors opened, Gregory got out of Freddy's hold, and walked out.

Already he saw a generator, and what's been happening all night he knows what to do when he sees a generator, he turns it on.

Freddy followed behind his Cub, watching as Gregory turned on generator after generator.

It was really weird being under the Pizza Plex, but what was weirder was apparently another building under the Pizza Plex.

Gregory could do nothing but shiver slightly at the sight of the 'Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria' sign.

Going inside only reminded him of a small version of the Pizzaplex, just without the neon lights and cleanliness.

Gregory had found another generator, and turned it on. He looked around for a bit longer, not wanting to miss anything, before getting into Freddy's stomach hatch.

They descended down more and more.

How far down does this thing go? Gregory really didn't want to think about it.

He didn't get to think about it much more when they got to the bottom, only to see a big mass of wires. The thing was asleep. It's head was white with a bit of pink on it.

It looked like it was Freddy but at the same time it wasn't.

Upon a further inspection, Gregory could see other things attached to whatever this thing was. Mostly other animatronics that looked oddly familiar to his family members that are topside.

Gregory shifted back in Freddy’s already limited space, letting Freddy know silently it was time to go. Freddy knew what he should do the moment Gregory tried to make himself smaller in his chest cavity. Freddy slowly made his way away from the abomination, and tried to find some place to go, but this seemed to be the end of the line, nothing else was in front of them, or in a secret tunnel.

Freddy was just about to go and walk back up the stairs, until he felt the ground from under him give away. Sending him into another room with three television monitors, two doors and what looks to be like an air vent.

Why it was here both couldn't tell.

Freddy wanted to walk around some more, wanted to feel the layout of this new area, but stopped. In one of the monitors something came out of a charging station.

Whatever it was, its energy screamed that it was a bigger threat than Freddy could ever imagine. The bear animatronic didn't like that idea one bit, he was about to go try to climb his way back out, when the destroyed bunny touched the TV screen.

The moment it happened Freddy's vision started to go haywire.

His vision turned purple, and his movements became erratic, not his own. Freddy opened up his stomach hatch, letting Gregory get out as he growled out, trying to fight whatever was trying to get inside his code. "I can't control myself. Gregory, please save yourself." Freddy felt himself slipping.

He wanted to Hurt Gregory. He wanted to watch the life drain from his cubs eyes.

But Gregory did not run, instead he ran to the TV screen, hit the button that was near it. Setting the destroyed bunny on fire. Its hand left the TV, allowing Freddy to 'breath' and try to get himself back together.

"Freddy what's going on?" Gregory asked in a panic, turning his attention back to his dad. Freddy shook his head. "I do not know. Let's keep that thing from touching the TV screen. Can you do that Shooting star?"

Gregory nods, looking after the tv screen and making sure the destroyed Rabbit didn't touch it again. He watched it, and watched it, always making sure to set it on fire..

After doing that so many times, the Destroyed bunny growled; what Gregory could only assume was impatient.

Soon these black wires started to come out of the ground, it freaked him out, that he almost forgot to hit the next button to stop the bunny from touching the screen, but he managed to do it somehow.

Now Gregory had to dodge the black wires, on top of running back and forth between different monitors to keep setting the destroyed bunny on fire.

After one too many close calls with the abomination, Gregory ran to each monitor to check and see where the bunny was, only to realize to his horror that he couldn't see where it was at all. He checked the monitors over and over again, but didn't realize that Freddy was now shorting out, purple static jumped between his eyes and code, Freddy tried his best to fight the purple that stung his eyes.

"G-Gr-r-regor-ry." Freddy's voice box shorted out, as he reached out for Gregory. The 10 year old turned around, and immediately pulled out his Fazerblaster, pointing it at Freddy.

Gregory took in a deep breath, ready to shoot his dad if he turned on him.

Gregory didn't hear the sounds of feet walking towards them, until he felt himself being picked up by the back of his shirt.

Gregory screamed, and tried to hit who grabbed him, but his arms were immediately grabbed, and pulled to one side, his already hurt arm throbbed in pain once more.

"You have been on my nerves the entire night boy. I was trying to give you a quick death, but I can not get to the other animatronics, and my follower is not responding."

His grip on Gregory's arms tightened as he growled out. "I must do everything myself now. Freddy, dismantle Gregory"

Gregory looked up at his dad fearfully as he walked up to him. Mouth opened wide, ready to crush down on his skull. He needed to get out. He needed to get his dad back.

He looked around frantically before seeing the black wires were still, but looking at them. They looked really for something to touch them.

Or some one.

"Any last words boy?" The destroyed bunny grinned at him, loosening his hold on his arms.

Perfect.

"Just one." Gregory grinned before, taking in a deep breath, and screamed as loud as he could.

"DAD!!!"

Freddy stopped, lowered his jaw just a bit. The loud noise distracted both of them. Just enough time for Gregory to throw his entire weight back, knocking the destroyed bunny off balance to get out of his grip.

He aimed his Fazerblaster at Freddy. Shooting him in the eyes, before running towards the black wires. The destroyed bunny screamed in rage, and limped after him.

Gregory knew he only had one shot at this. Si with all of his strength, he rammed his shoulder into one of the black wires at just the right time.

They all started to whip around immediately, they swished around wildly, trying to grab anything that they could.

It just so happened that Gregory had taken shelter under the desk after he rammed into the wires, the only thing in its grasp was the Destroyed bunny, which it grabbed onto instantly.

The destroyed bunny screamed out in rage. Trying to get himself out of the black wires. " I MADE YOU, YOU WILL OBEY ME." That only earned him a screeched Gregory never heard come from an animatronic.

Its face had shown through one of the holes, and as it screamed, its face opened up to showing even more wires that made up the endoskeleton.

It wrapped itself around the destroyed bunny, before zipping back up one of the ceiling holes. The scream of rage could be heard, before fading.

Gregory let out a breath he didn't even know he was holding, before he looked back at Freddy, who was blinking his sensors back into the correct calibration.

He was coming back to himself.

"Dad!" Gregory said happily, running to Freddy, hugging his waist. Freddy blinked once, before Gregory's words registered in his head. He had called him dad.

Freddy picked him up, spinning him happily, as he laughing. Causing Gregory to start laughing as well. "We did it dad, we did it. That destroyed bunny won't bother us any more!" He grinned happily once Freddy stopped spinning him.

"That's good my Shooting star, my brave son. I knew you could do it." He praised, holding him out by his armpits before bringing him to his chest, rubbing his back.

Gregory clung to Freddy, just relaxing finally. He didn't realize how tired he was, he had let adrenalin pump into him all night, and now, now the effects of being up the entire day was now crashing down on him.

"Dad, can we go back up?" He asked tiredly. Freddy hummed, placing his nose into Gregory's hair, before placing him in his stomach hatch.

He took the passage way out of the Pizza Plex. He had to climb up a lot, but with Monty's claws it was easy. He ended up coming out near the 'Come back soon' sign of the Pizza Plex.

Freddy was in awe. He never got to see the outside world before. It was so pretty. Maybe he can ask management if they can have an outside attraction built. Say it could be Foxy's and Bonnie's new area, because they will not be decommissioned on his watch.

Freddy hummed quietly as he walked back to the Pizza Plex, Freddy  could finally understand just how big the Pizza Plex truly was.

He stood near the now opened entrance, before going back inside, he marveled at the utter size of the place they called home.

Once he did get back inside, he jumped over the card swipe before taking the elevator to get back up to the first floor.

When Freddy walked into Roxy's Raceway, he was immediately met with hugs by Foxy, Bonnie, and Sun. They all were worried about him and Gregory, and asked where their son was.

Freddy opened up his stomach hatch, and they were met with a sleeping Gregory. Sun reached into Freddy's stomach hatch and pulled Gregory towards their own chest.

Sun then pulled out a small blanket from their own hatch, putting it around Gregory, who nuzzled into the warmth.

The dads watched their son quietly, before Roxy came towards them, quietly saying. "Freddy, you need to see this." He nods before following Roxy back towards the others.

What he saw made Freddy's jaw drop. It was Officer Vanessa, in a weird looking bunny suit.

"What happened?" He asked quietly seeing that his lovers had walked over, Sun still carrying Gregory.

"She came around in this weird bunny mask, saying 'we needed to be with our master'. She picked up a good fight before DJ had enough and grabbed her. She struggled before just going still, and has been like this for 10 minutes now."

Monty said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Oh dear. Hopefully she'll be alright." Freddy said quietly, before looking at Vanessa once more.

She started to stir, groaning quietly before holding her head. Vanessa got up slowly, blinking a few times, before her vision cleared.

"I, ,, you saved me?" She asked, as if not knowing if the answer was true or not. "Are you feeling fine Officer Vanessa?" Freddy asked, helping the women to get up.

"I,,, I can't hear him any more. He's not breathing down my back, hahaha! Fuck you William Afton. 'I always come back' my ass. Peepaw Willy." Vanessa grinned.

Sun covered Gregory's ears, as they glared at Vanessa, how dare she use such profanity around their son.

Vanessa took a deep breath in thru her nose, and out her mouth, before looking back at Gregory. "Can you wake up the brat, so I can thank him?" She asked Sun, who continued to glare at her, before slowly shaking Gregory awake.

He bats Sun's hand away, as he tries to get comfy again, but Sun doesn't let up as he lifts his head from their shoulder. "Stardust, please wake up for a few moments."

Gregory whined in protest before rubbing his eyes, he squinted as the light almost burned his eyes, before his eyes immediately went to Vanessa, who stood close to Freddy.

"What do you want?" He hissed.

"I just want to thank you for destroying Afton kid."

"Ya, whatever." He tiredly said, ready to put his head back on Sun's shoulder before Vanessa spoke up again. "Kid, I understand you want to stay with the animatronics right?"

"Where are you going with this?" He asked, not knowing if he should trust her or not.

"I can help you not get caught in here again. Just think of this as a thank you for getting old Peepaw Afton destroyed again."

Gregory looked at her suspiciously, before asking. " What do you want?"

"Well you're not in any of our systems, people will come looking for you, and kick you out. So I will get you a full year pass, and not only that, but I'll adopt you, so people can get off your ass."

Gregory was now awake at that, did, did she really just say what he thought she had said.

"Why should I trust that you won't just send me to the police and be rid of me?" He said with venom.

"As I said before, it's a thank you for getting rid of the old man. Plus, you don't have to call me mom or anything. I'm just trying to help you not get caught by the authorities."

Gregory looked at his four dad's, before looking back at Vanessa. "Why can't Freddy just adopt me?"

"He's an animatronic, they won't accept an animatronic taking care of a child. So I will file out the paperwork, saying I'm going to adopt you, and then once the orphanage sees me as being an OK person. Then they'll be off our asses and I can let you live at the Pizza Plex."

That didn't sound too bad, it will surely get him off the streets, and if he has to live with Vanessa for a small bit, just to then love with Freddy and and others.

He'll do that.

"Alright Vanessa. You got yourself a deal." He saw Vanessa let out a long breath. " Thanks brat."

"Officer Vanessa?" Sun asked with a tilt of his head. " Yes?"

"Do you mind enrolling Gregory into school as well? It wouldn't be healthy for him to be at the Pizza Plex all day, every day."

Gregory looked at Sun with betrayal. " Pops!"

"Sure I'll see what I can do. I think there is a school 20 minutes drive from the Pizza Plex, and a 10 minute walk from my apartment."

"That's splendid, thank you Officer Vanessa." Freddy said, ears twitching happily.

"I'm being betrayed by my own dads." Gregory said, now trying to get out of Sun's grasp.

"Sun is right Pup. You need your education. You are already very smart, but I'd like to see you go further. We'd all like to see you go further." Foxy grinned.

Gregory pouted, crossing his arm over his chest, before Bonnie added salt to the burn. "I would like to have you come home and show us a project you're proud of."

"OK, OK geez I'll go. I'll go." He groaned. Sun pats his head.

"Good now that's all settled. I'm going to go home and sleep. See you later guys." She said, walking off before pausing at the door way.

At the doorway to Roxy's raceway stood a female-like figure, but their hair was cut short like a boys. They had a maintenance shirt on as their mouth was wide open.

"Oh, hi Maintenance Covert." Chica said with a small awkward wave.

",,, WHAT THE FUCK!!!"

Notes:

Well here we are. At the end.

Thank you all so much for reading this and adding comments. It really does bring me joy to know I made your day/pulled your heart strings.

While This marks the end of this book, that doesn't mean Gregory's story is over just yet. As I said in Chapter 7 I am going to expend upon the Animatronic ending and the True ending.

Not only did I finish writing this chapter today, I also finish writing the first chapter that takes place after the True ending, and I will be uploading that soon.
