Maybe Lumine judged Thoma a little too quickly...She felt a bit bad for that, but she needed to be more cautious since this is a new region she's in afterall...It wouldn't be the first time someone tried to take an advantage of her because of that. She sighed as she shook the thought off her head and concentrated more on the tour Thoma was giving them. It was pretty busy here, not Liyue business, but still. As they walked by, she could feel others staring at them and it made her uncomfortable. It's one thing that Lumine and Hu Tao are technically foreigners...It's another thing that Hu is up to her antics again.
At some point she wasn't paying attention, Hu noticed this and released her fire butterfly in front of her, startling her. In retaliation, Lumine pulled down Hu's hat until it covered her eyes. Thoma didn't seem to do anything, mostly because he was amused at what he was watching. He could tell those two were pretty good friends once they started laughing. It didn't take long for them to playfully bicker amongst each other.
Once the bickering died down a bit..A thought came to his mind after getting to know the mysterious traveler some more...In many ways, Lumine is similar to his sister especially when it comes talking. Both aren't exactly the best at it he noted... Maybe just maybe...Lumine could be a great help for her. Afterall...He often worries about her. Shaking off the thoughts, he continued their tour and hopefully get the two their travel permit. It's the most important thing to have in Inazuma or else, you're not allowed to leave this area. If you do, you get fined if you're luck and jail time if you were not.

A young lady sighed in relief once she wiped off her own blood from her forehead. She retreated her sword once the enemy was finally dead. She made sure to look around to see if anymore was coming, but thankfully there was not. She stood there for a moment as it continued to rain before sitting next to a tree. She closed her eyes for a brief moment, taking the opportunity to rest even just for a moment. "W-why are there so...many hilichurls lately..." She muttered to herself. Normally, she would be somewhere else, doing paperwork and helping out her siblings, but once she heard the abnormal moment of Hilichurls showing up...
She couldn't let them be especially when there wasn't a single adventurer strong enough to take this task. She was the only one capable of taking this task at the moment. Oh how tired she was in this moment and how much she wanted to sleep...She knew if she went back, she wouldn't have the time for that. As much as muscles ached, there was still so much to do. Before sleep could take a hold of her, she forced herself to get up and head back where she came from. In her mind, she decided to do some more work at home and then she would call it for the night...Afterall her people needed her...She hoped Thoma would return so he could help out with the fighting.
What she didn't notice was a figure looming from a distance, watching her as she makes her way out. They sighed once they realized how many Hilichurls were dead...Once the princess was nowhere to be seen, he walks up to the corpses and bends down to have a better look at them. He knew they were willing to died for their cost, but it was never easy for him to see them like this. He picked one up as an Abyss Mage showed up at his side, he ordered them to take the corpses back and buried them so they can have a proper rest. They nodded and went to work in doing so.
Before he left the area, a memory resurfaced in his mind. One thought buried away due to the great pain it caused him. At some point of their journey here, Aether and Lumine would constantly switch sides until they finally realized what's going on...The only difference now is that he remembers everything and his sister did not. She doesn't remember working together with him to reach a common goal..Nor does she remember the promise they made together.
..Eventually those thoughts reached to it's conclusions and he turned around with the Hilichurl still in arm. He hoped his sister remembers soon...So they both can be together once more and get rid of this cursed land and start a new one. He did not deserve to go through the pain he went to ,nor did she.
It was all because of that Stupid god their plans failed and Lumine doesn't remember anything. He told one last breath before opening a portal and disappearing into the dark where his subjects are waiting for him. Perhaps he can find a way to plant those memories back to her little at a time. Someone in the Abyss should know how as a new idea came to his mind
