At Beidou’s Ship the Next day
“It didn’t feel like you guys were here for all that long.” Thoma says as Chongyun and Xingqiu wait for Beidou to be prepared “It’s not as though they will never visit again” Ayato says confidently “We’ll be sure to visit. Lets just hope it’s not for a bad conflict” Xingqiu jokes “I’m all ready kids!” Beidou yells from on the ship. “See you guys sometime!” Xingqiu and Chongyun say in unison as the set sail.
“The weather seems a lot warmer than normal” Chongyun points out, making Xingqiu laugh “Inazuma was a little colder. I bet you liked that” “I was able to train longer than normal.” Xingqiu and Chongyun chat occasionally, laughing at their Inazuma experience. “Ah master Xingqiu you father wants to talk to you” Xingqiu runs into Xu and was told he was needed “C'mon let's go” Xingqiu grabs Chongyun’s hand
“Didn’t I deny your second request to leave Liyue?” His father scolds “Yes father” “Then why’d you leave, especially to the closed nation of Inazuma!” “One of our patrons was here for a goods issue that we personally needed to solve and you weren’t available. I feel more happy since I’ve come back” He looks at Chongyun when saying the last part “Don’t think Chongyun’s off the hook either. His mother was putting dozens of search warrants out for him” They both look at their feet in shame “Next time let everyone know, not just a select few.” Xingqiu’s father dismisses them and the go to Xingqiu’s room “Hey Yun?” “Yes?” He kisses his cheek “I love you. I’m so lucky to have fallen for you” Chongyun blushes.
