Chapter Text
Keigo clung to Dabi as the pod filtered into the cove, more figures popping up then the ones Dabi had traveled with. Keigo tipped his head to watch them over his alphas shoulder, content to be led to the rocks. Ignoring his wings, that had just become fully dry from last night’s flooding of the cove, which were now wet once again.
Ash, sage, and citrus coated Keigo from the moment he touched Dabi, his head finally dropping to bury his nose next to the scent gland on his upper neck. Dabi chuckled from under him, clicking and whistling something before receding into the water. Keigo took a deep breath before being plunged underwater, eyes clamping shut to keep the salty water from his eyes.
A tap on his back has his eyes and mouth opening to take in air, the stale scent of the den filtering in. Dabi pulled him from the water and set him in the nest, tail flicking lazily as he set about scenting the den, ducking into little nooks and crannies.
Keigo settled into the nest without preamble, watching his alpha check the entire den, scenting it as he went. His wings ruffled, fluffing up as they shook water off before finally settling, eyes closing as the rush of excitement wore, and the bone numbing exhaustion filtered in. Dabi slipped into the nest a few minutes later, tail curling around the entire bed before pulling Keigo into his arms.
“The pod stays here until late spring,” Dabi mumbled against his hair, hand tracing windind patterns up and down his arms, nails lightly scratching the tan skin in soothing passes. Keigo’s wings fluffed, head lifting to look at him with wide eyes, searching for the truth in his eyes. “The offer still stands from last year,” he mumbled, holding Keigo tighter.
If you want to come with us, you can. No hard feelings between anyone.
Keigo blinked slowly, weighing options before opening his mouth. It closed moments after, but his heart was pounding, small trickles sliding down his skin. He just barely noticed Dabi go still underneath him, his pupils dilating and his breath going heavy.
“Dabi?”
A low, guttural sound left Dabi’s throat, his head bending down to dip closer to Keigo’s throat, lips pressing against the sensitive gland. Keigo arched into the touch, chest pushing against the alpha as his mouth dropped open in a high-pitched whine.
“Dabi?” It sounded too breathless even too his own ears.
“You smell so good,” the alpha rumbled, tongue peeking out to run along the small slit in the skin, more of the omega’s scent leaking into the den. Keigo gasped and panted from his place above the alpha, eyes closed in bliss, head tipping further back to bare more of his throat for the alpha. His alpha. When the alphas’ lips closed around the gland Keigo spasmed, keening as his eyes rolled back, a shuddering moan ripping from his throat.
Keigo pushed his hips closer to the alpha, seeking any type of help for the fire that burned his pelvis. The heat as delicious as it was searing. Dabi crooned at him, teeth skimming over his neck as he finally left the poor gland alone to mark his neck up with bruising purple.
“Please,” Keigo breathed, hands gripping the alphas hair in a vice grip as he pulled his head closer. “Please…”
“Anything for you,” Dabi murmured against his skin, head dropping lower, just as the heat consumed him.

The pod was lounging out on the rocks when Dabi and Keigo finally emerged, the alpha slipping into the water to chase some of the pups around as the omega rung out his black shirt and set it to dry, comfortable in a pair of loose blue trousers. The other omegas in the group gave him a knowing look, smirks passing through the group.
Keigo gave them all a sharp look, the intensity greatly reduced by the amount of blush on his cheeks. Dabi’s low croon sounded a moment before strong arms wound around his hips, hands splayed over his still warm stomach. Keigo shuddered but the purr that rolled from his mouth was tangible.
Keigo gave a low warble as lips pressed to the spot behind his ear, a greeting that was quickly becoming something Keigo was addicted to. Teeth nibbled onto the skin, Keigo feeling the sting and knew that there would be yet another mark on his skin. One of many that littered his neck.
Almost to the point it looked like he got mauled.
But he was proud of them and was preening under the attention it gave him. Dabi hugged him close just as the rest of the pod swam over to the ledge that Keigo had claimed for himself, low enough to the water for easy access but high enough he could keep his wings from getting soaked with every wave.
“Hello again, Keigo!” An excited shout echoed from Denki who swam up the quickest, surging onto the ledge to grasp Keigo’s hands in an embrace.
“Hello, Denki,” Keigo welcomed, pressing his wrists against the other omegas in greeting.
“Keigo,” a warm voice from his left revealed the female alpha.
“Momo!” He breathed, eagerly flicking out a wing to brush against her shoulder in recognition. “And Fumikage!” The little pup grinned shyly from beside the alpha, lifting his tail and flashing a hello before ducking behind the alpha again.
Keigo made a soft sound in confusion at the new additions, lost on how to greet them. Did he greet them? Was he supposed to? Gods not even a day in being mates and he was already screwing it up.
Before the panic could set in a warm hand braced between his shoulders, pressing hard enough for him to notice and pause without hurting. Dabi gave a low sound, tail flashing at the four newcomers.
“Kei,” Dabi started, pausing when keigo froze before the immediate onslaught of happy omega hit his senses. His cerulean eyes rolled before he continued, though the soft smile gave away his happiness. “These are our new packmates. We found them at The Crossing, and picked them up. Loners. Go on you four.”
“Hello there, Keigo! I’m Mina and it is so nice to finally meet you! Denki has told me so much about your visits and everything!” Mina’s brightly colored scales seemed to glow brighter still, the coral pink the same as her hair and eyes. Though the two amber horns on her head suggested a mixed breed.
“I’m Izuku! It’s nice to meet you Keigo-san! Sorry we kept you waiting for so long, heh.” The green scaled mer went next, tail fading from a vibrant green to almost black at the tips.
Neither had presented, Keigo could tell that much, though he could guess omega for both. The next two however, Keigo could tell had presented. Still newer to their presentation, but enough to have a presence.
“Kirishima Eijirou! It’s awesome to meet ya, Keigo-san! Maybe we could train together one day!” The sharp teeth drew Keigo’s attention first, then the entirely crimson red tail, the shark like finish to its end different than the rest of the pod. Alpha, it emanated off the redhead even though the presence was more on the comforting side and not oppressing spectrum.
Keigo gave a wide smile to all of them, though paused as he noticed the fourth seemed to be adamantly staying near Dabi, the explosive blonde hair barely seen behind Dabi’s tail.
“Ah,” Dabi finally spoke, noticing his gaze. “This is Bakugou, we rescued him from a group of hunters before we got to the isles. He presented in a drop heat when we rescued him, so his omega latched onto me.” Dabi gave Keigo a slow look, flicking eyes upwards before looking back at him.
Keigo grimaced. To lose your pack to hunters was one of the worsts for an omega, newly presented would mean that Bakugou had latched onto the first presence, and then the second if the first was killed.
“It’s lovely to meet you all,” Keigo grinned, hoping his warmth would be enough to break them all out of their shells. “My name is Keigo, though you all seem to know that already, and its amazing to meet you all. All good things I hope, Mina. No worries, Izuku, I would’ve waited longer.” And he would’ve. Because for Dabi, Keigo would’ve waited far longer than he should’ve for this chance. “Kirishima, I don’t know how we could train together but I welcome the challenge,” he chuckled. His gaze turned to Bakugou and he mustered up as comforting a smile as he could, letting his own omegan presence come out. “And I hope we can meet truly one day, Bakugou.”
At his words the pack dispersed, including Bakugou who only hesitated slightly when Dabi urged him to join with the others. The blonde’s eyes found Keigo who gave him a warm smile, urging him on. A call from the red haired one however seemed to convince the blonde who peeled off from Dabi and slowly went towards the others.
“Where’s Jirou?” Keigo finally asked, the concern for the dark-haired alpha worrying his anxiety at asking away.
“She’s out hunting, along with another packmate. He’s young, but I promised another pod to take him with me when I traveled for him to explore more. His name is Shinsou. You’d like him. Smart, resourceful.”
Dabi’s body was hauled out of the water with strong arms, muscles rippling under the worryingly pale skin. Keigo never knew how the alpha managed to stay almost deathly pale even with all his time in the water under the sun. The thought was gone when a pair of lips pressed against his neck, a lilting sound echoing from his throat even as a sting of pain flashed from his freshly wounded gland.
“Dabi…” Keigo breathed, leaning back into the warm body behind him. Keigo’s wings lay limp atop the ledge, edges trickled by the waves that licked up the sides of the rockface.
“Touya,” Dabi breathed against his ear. “Call me Touya.”
Keigo felt the tether between them go taunt and lax and burning and chilling all at once. Magic sang in his bones and rattled through his wings at the whispered confession. His omega sang its praises, many of them escaping his lips and lost among the waves and his mates’ neck once Keigo turned his head into the smooth column to his side.
“Touya,” Keigo breathed, feeling the shudder that went through the alpha before the rumbling croon soon replaced it. Vibrating against his back and barely teasing the base of his wings. “Touya…”
“Yes, pretty bird?”
Don’t leave me again. Take me. Be with me. Call me yours. Be mine. Keep me.
The silent pleas never left his mouth, but Dabi -Touya- seemed to know all the same, the overwhelming kindness in his eyes threatening to drown Keigo before he was even in the water. Touya pressed a lingering kiss against Keigo’s lips, tugging the lower one between his teeth. The tang of iron from his own lip sang across Keigo’s tongue, mouth opening wider when Touya’s own deftly ran over his teeth and the roof of his mouth.
Keigo wished the sound that left him when Touya pulled away hadn’t had been as needy as it was, but even in his self-deprecating he knew it was downright wanton. Touya grinned almost boyishly when he heard the sound, hand tipping Keigo’s chin up further until he could nibble at the tan skin of his throat, pulling the skin between his teeth before laving his tongue over the abused area.
“I won’t leave you again,” Touya whispered the promise against his collarbone, lips brushing his skin with every word. “And there will not be a desire left for you to want once I’m through with you.”

“Yua! Asahi! Kaito! C’mon we must go! The packs ready to go south!” Keigo’s voice echoed across the small inlet the pod had settle down in for spring and summer. Three heads popped up along the water a little ways out into the ocean. They all seemed to tousle for a long moment, Keigo mourning the quiet mornings when the three were sleeping in the heat before shaking his head slowly. He opened his mouth to call to them again when a black shape slammed into the three of them from behind, the entire group dropping under the water.
Keigo let out a laugh when suddenly the three were in front of him, heads bowed slightly, and the satisfied figure behind them grinned with mirth. Yua darted towards him quickly, ever Keigo’s favorite. Keigo scented his pup as soon as Yua was within his grasp, mindful of the huge silken wings that could glide through the water as easily as Keigo through the air. The large fin-type wings were a perfect crimson, the small feathers along the bone that covered the thin webbing jet black and much warmer than Keigo could take credit for. Golden hair and blue eyes, Yua was a beautiful mix of his parents.
Asahi was almost a copy of his father, huge black tail with vibrant blue dapples. Though Keigo was proud to admit the golden eyes and bird-like markings around them were from him.
Kaito on the other hand was Keigo’s lookalike, only difference being his hair that was almost a snowy white color, the large red wings on his back feathered and beautiful. Capable of flight and swift flying through the seas.
Keigo looked up from his children to the father behind them, a grin tugging at his lips when he noticed the absolutely fond look the alpha held as he watched them.
“Ready for another adventure, my love?” Touya finally asked, a matching smile crooking his lips.
“With you?” Keigo teased.
“Always.”
