Chapter Text
Katsuki and Hawks knocked on Kirishima’s door repeatedly.
“SHITTY HAIR. OPEN UP!” Katsuki yelled.
“Hello Red Riot!” Hawks used the call box. “We have a pizza for you!”
But there was no response.
“Fuck this.” Katsuki snapped before kicking the door open. The two heroes walked inside and noticed blood everywhere.
“Deku?!” Katsuki’s voice cracked. There was no way. He knew Kirishima was mad at him. He may have been jealous of Deku, but would he really go this far?! The two heroes rushed into the home as Hawks followed the trail of blood leading to the hero's garage.
“DynaMight! In here!” Hawks called him as Katsuki rushed to where the blood trail ended.
“No way…there’s no way he hurt him, right?!” Katsuki began to hyperventilate.
“Wait! Look at this!” Hawks pointed to a security system in the garage that showed live footage of the front entrance of Eijiro’s home and garage. “Let’s see if we can find out what really happened here…”
The hero began rewinding the footage before Katsuki’s phone buzzed. He checked it anxiously and froze.
“What the fuck?” He said out loud.
“What is it?” Hawks questioned.
“Shitty Hair just shared his location with me.” Katsuki wondered if it was Deku who got a hold of his phone.
“Wait a minute…DynaMight..” Hawks paused as he turned his attention back to the footage. “You were here last night?!”
“What the hell?!” Katsuki froze as he saw himself on camera knocking on the front door. “That’s not me.”
“Toga.” They both said at the same time.
Katsuki wished people understood what he meant when he said he loved Deku. Because here he was, letting this Cheeky bird who irritated him to no end hold him like he was a fucking baby being carried by a stork as they soared through the air to Kirishima’s location.
He REALLY fucking loved Deku, okay?!
Katsuki cursed to himself as he recalled what he saw in the security footage. It was easy to assume where Eijiro had gone after being attacked by Toga and Hawks dispatched everyone to the scene. But the fastest way there was through the sky. That meant they were back to their worst fears. The League had Deku. But what if Eijiro did something stupid and they retaliated somehow? He had to shake off the thought. Hawks spotted Ei’s car and when they landed, they froze in horror.
“Red Riot!” Hawks gasped.
Kirishima was passed out on the wheel of his car as he was slowly bleeding out in the driver’s seat.
“EI!” Katsuki screamed as he flung the door open and shook him. “Shitty Hair! Come on! Don’t die! Not until I kill you first, okay?!”
“Mmm…m..Ka…tsuki…” Eijiro slowly regained consciousness.
“Oh…thank goodness you’re okay.” Hawks sighed in relief before grabbing Gauze from his utility belt. “Stay steady now…”
“N..no…save it for Midoriya.” He said hazily.
“Deku?! Where’s Deku?!” Katsuki panicked.
“The….school…” He pointed at the abandoned building. “I’m sorry…I should have called you sooner. But this is where the League is….they’re here!”
Katsuki’s eyes widened as he took off toward the building.
“Hold on, DynaMight! You never know who could be in there!” Hawks warned. “One wrong move and you’re dust!”
Katsuki stared at the building before he noticed a car pull up. “Get down!” He ordered.
The two jumped in the backseat of Ei’s car and watched as Shigaraki walked out of the building and into the vehicle followed by Mr. Compress.
The car sped off and Katsuki leapt out with a large grin on his face. “Looks like dust’s off the table.”
Hawks had a troubled look on his face. “I should follow them. Compress was there. And he might have Midoriya in his POCKET.” He emphasized.
“Shit…” Katsuki clicked his tongue.
“Backup is on it’s way DynaMight..Be careful.” Hawks said as he gently lifted Eijiro from the driver's seat into the passenger's seat after bandaging him up and tossed Katsuki the keys.
“I’ll…” Eijiro struggled. “Go with you!”
“You need to focus on not dying!” Katsuki snapped.
“You’ll just get in my way otherwise…” Katsuki put his fists together angrily. He needed to retrieve Deku and get the hell out. He would save apprehending the villains for the rest of the heroes.
Izuku had vivid dreams while the drugs overtook him. He dreamt he met All Might and ate his hair and got his quirk. He was the same age as Kacchan in his dream and went to school with him at UA. They graduated together and became pro heroes and got married. Izuku became lost in it. What a nice life.
But instead, he was born 7 years later and he was doomed to become a horrible monster that was going to hurt people, not save them. All Might retired long ago. He would never meet him. The only thing he could hope for was Katsuki. And yet, he ran away from him because he needed to save Rody! Rody, who got caught up in everything all because he had the misfortune of being his friend. Izuku wished he could at least apologize to him. He wished he could tell Kacchan about Roro and Lala so he could take care of them.
Izuku saw a huge explosion in his dreams. It was blinding. He wondered if the doctor took him already like Dabi said. Maybe Izuku was dead because he drifted his eyes open and felt the warmth of Katsuki’s arms. They were strong as always. He looked into his beautiful red eyes which were filled with concern. Draped over Katsuki’s shoulder was Rody who was barely breathing. Izuku could see Kacchan mouthing something but he couldn’t make it out.
Izuku slowly reached up to touch his face and wipe a tear that seemed to invade it. Kacchan was an Angel.
Izuku panicked as black spots invaded the perfect dream.
“N-no…come back!” He cried as Katsuki’s face contorted in panic. “Kacchan! Kacchan! I-”
Then there was nothing but darkness. Was he dead?
Izuku’s eyes snapped wide open as he took a large breath in unfamiliar surroundings. He panicked as he looked around and noticed he was in a hospital? There were machines hooked up to him monitoring his pulse. He felt his head pound with a searing headache.
“Deku?!” Katsuki’s hand grabbed his and Izuku turned toward him and calmed down slightly.
“Am…I still dreaming?” He asked dizzily.
“No baby…” Katsuki stood up from the chair he was sitting in and scooted by his side on the bed and cradled him. “You’re safe now.”
Izuku looked up at his boyfriend and collapsed into his chest sobbing.
“Wh…what happened? How did you find me??! Wait…Rody…WHAT ABOUT RODY IS HE-”
“Your friend is fine.” Katsuki kissed his head reassuringly. “He lost a lot of blood and I got there just in time, but he made it. He’ll be okay.”
Izuku sighed in relief. “Can I…can I see him?”
“In a bit…we gotta make sure you’re okay first. You were knocked out for a couple of days. They put some hard shit in your veins.” Katsuki growled. “Him and Shitty Hair are already being discharged. Also…” Katsuki looked toward the door as Inko Midoriya burst in. “There’s someone who wants to see you first.”
“Izuku!” She cried.
“M..MOM!” Izuku sobbed as she threw her arms around him. He hadn’t seen his mom in so long. He didn’t realize how much he missed her.
“Thank you Katsuki-kun…” Inko hiccuped. “Thank you for saving my baby boy.”
“I-” He was about to reassure her how much he cared for Izuku when the door flung open and Aizawa came in.
“I wouldn’t be sure to thank him yet. Come with me Ms. Midoriya…There’s something we need to discuss.” The teacher said sternly.
“Are you kidding?!” Katsuki seethed. “I can tell her that shit myse-”
“Then join us Bakugo.” Aizawa said more as a command as he leered at his former student.
“W-wait! Don’t…don’t go!” Izuku grabbed his hand. “Please…don’t leave me…” His voice trembled as he held onto Katsuki for dear life.
“Can’t this wait?” Inko asked as she pet her sons hair gently. “I just got my baby back…”
“The League got away.” Aizawa informed the three.
“You’re kidding…” Katsuki gawked at him.
“I didn’t want to say this in front of him, as he’s been through a lot, but we need to discuss our next steps in keeping him safe.” Aizawa sighed. “And now that we know they’ll use his loved ones, that includes a plan on keeping YOU safe, Mrs. Midoriya.”
“He’s staying with me.” Katsuki held on to Deku tightly. “After what happened, I don’t trust anything else.”
“Todoroki.” Aizawa called the teen who was waiting outside. “Keep Midoriya company while we discuss elsewhere.”
“No! I’m not leaving him!”
“What’s..the problem?” Inko asked. She was confused why there was tension in the air. “Katsuki-kun is used to taking care of my Izuku who adores him. And after what happened at UA…why shouldn’t he?”
“Mom…” Izuku grabbed her hand. “Please don’t be mad…Aizawa-Sensei and the heroes don’t trust him…they don’t trust him because I love Kacchan, mom! And he loves me too! And we wanna be together and they don’t want us to!” He confessed to her. “But Kacchan makes me feel safe! And happy! And he doesn’t pressure me to do anything I’m not ready for!” Inko blinked bewildered at her son before looking between him and Katsuki.
“Is this true, Katsuki-kun?” She asked calmly. “Are you seeing my son?”
“Yah.” He said straightforwardly. “I love him, Auntie. It’s true. And I’m sorry I couldn’t tell you myself.” He glared at Aizawa. “But…I’m being as careful as I can with how I’m doin’ this. I would never want to hurt him. And above all, I’m keeping him safe no matter what anyone says.” Katsuki stated firmly.
“I see.” Inko stood up. “It’s best if we do discuss this elsewhere then…JUST me and Katsuki.” She gently patted Izuku’s hair as Katsuki followed her.
“Please look after him in the meantime.” She bowed to Aizawa and Shoto.
“Sure.” Shoto bowed back.
Izuku watched helplessly before Katsuki turned his head back and mouthed “I love you” as he shut the door.
Inko walked steadily in front of the taller guy behind her and Katsuki hadn’t felt this nervous in YEARS. On one hand, he was glad Deku said something before Aizawa had a chance to paint him like he was a fucking predator. On the other hand, hearing Deku blurt out their relationship like that made it very clear how young and naive he was. He really did trust him and Katsuki didn’t know if that would impress Inko or make her want to lock him away forever.
They walked to the rooftop and stared at the view in silence for a moment. Katsuki had to take Izuku to the nearest hospital to that abandoned elementary school, otherwise Rody and Kirishima would have been toast. It was a farm town with the most beautiful fields.
“Auntie I-” Katsuki began to speak.
“Do you know how hard it is as a parent to have a child that’s born..different from everyone else?” Inko asked him as Katsuki quietly stared at her.
“I love my Izuku! But the world? It hasn’t given him a chance..”
She began to cry. “Everyone has been so cruel to him. All I want is for him to be happy. That’s all I want.” She tried to collect herself. “He wanted a quirk so badly…and when it became clear he wouldn’t get one, I had to piece back together his broken heart. But I couldn’t watch him all the time because I had to work. You helped me a lot then Katsuki-kun. And Izuku adored you. I thought I finally did something right. But then…” She laughed. “He came to me one day and said… ‘Mama…I wanna marry Kacchan! I wanna make him my wife!’”
Katsuki blushed and nervously rubbed his head with the back of his hand.
“I tried to explain to him that you’re a boy…and please don’t take this the wrong way Katsuki-kun. Please don’t judge me for this. But I told him he was supposed to love girls. Because he was ALREADY so different. Did he really have to go and stand out more?” She wiped her face. “My one comfort was that you were older. You were always a responsible child. I never thought in a million years you would give him what he wanted.”
“Auntie-”
“Please let me finish! My Izuku was a complete mess when you got taken by the League of Villains in high school. He was so worried about you. Then you came home safely and he could finally sleep again. That’s when I knew, I couldn’t change him. So…just tell me one thing. Why do you love him of all people? You’re a popular hero…you have the whole world at your fingertips. You’re living the dream you always had your heart set on. You could have anyone you want, so why Izuku?!” She asked.
“Because…he’s different. I’ve never met anyone like him in my life. Sure, he’s powerless…but he’s the most heroic fucking person I’ve ever met. He’s brave. He’s smart and I could list all the great qualities you already know he has but to be completely honest…the real reason? He feels like home. Even Aldera didn’t feel like a real home till you guys moved in. It was weird. I never understood as a kid the point of getting up every day. I didn’t need to, I just fucking did it. But still, my parents never believed in a God..or spirits or the afterlife.”
“Ma always said you eat, you shit, you fuck, you die. And hopefully you leave behind something worth remembering. But then she forced me to watch Deku and…I realized she was wrong. There had to be more than that. Because after I started hanging around him?” Katsuki explained.
“It was like…everything locked into place. He saw worth in everything. Thought the mail man had the coolest haircut even though he was bald!” Katsuki snorted. “I didn’t even really notice the leaves changed color in the fall till he pointed it out.”
“Really?” Inko asked.
“Yeah. That’s when I learned I’m colorblind. I can only see green. Guess I got lucky there.” Katsuki laughed. “Point is, being around him makes me feel like there’s a purpose to it all. It’s like he’s the other half of my soul or some shit. So…I won’t let him go.”
Inko stared at him for a long moment and Katsuki panicked before she suddenly burst into laughter as tears came out of her eyes.
“Did I say something funny?!”
“No…I just…I never expected you to be such a romantic…or say something so…” She blushed before laughing again.
“You two are exactly alike huh?” Katsuki said irritated. “Can't just let me say something nice…”
“Katsuki-kun…” She grabbed his hand. “Truthfully, I wished you would have waited…but…I believe you and I trust you to keep my boy safe. I know there’s nothing I can say that will keep you two apart. Even if it would be best for him to at least graduate before he jumps into this. My Izuku is very stubborn, as you know. So please…just be careful with his heart.” She said gently. “Nothing will break him more than losing you.”
“Trust me.” Katsuki gripped her hand firmly as he began to guide her back into the hospital. “I’d break if I lost him too. Which is why we really should get back to him. Cant trust these idiots with him.”
After many discussions with Aizawa, and the other heroes, it was decided with Inko’s permission that Izuku was to stay with Katsuki and remain under his direct protection until the League was apprehended for good. Katsuki’s parents had a spare bedroom in their large home which was heavily secured and they agreed to take Inko in.
Now that the League knew Izuku’s identity, the heroes worked together to patrol Regency High to prevent other students from being targeted. Because of this, Izuku was allowed back on campus as long as Katsuki picked him up and dropped him off every day.
“I’m so nervous…” Izuku said while emerging into the kitchen wearing his school uniform which he hadn’t worn in a couple of months now.
“You look great.” Katsuki smirked before pecking him on the cheek. “Let me fix this!” He tugged on his tie which was terribly put together.
“Thanks…” Izuku laughed. “I’m sorry you have to take me to school like a kindergartner…”
“I don’t get to do this to a kindergartener, now do I?” Katsuki pulled Izuku by his tie and kissed him passionately.
“I sure hope not.” The teen blushed horrified. “But…do it again.”
“You’re gonna be late if we keep at this, baby…” Katsuki said as he finished tying his tie perfectly before kissing him again. “Cant have that on your first day back..”
“We can if we want to…” Izuku threw his arms around Katsuki’s neck and pulled him back in, close to his face.
“Come on Deku….you’re gonna be fine.” Katsuki pecked him on the lips quickly before hoisting him up and spinning him to the elevator. Izuku held onto him tightly as they kissed the entire ride down to the garage.
“Is it wrong that I hope you don’t find the League so I can stay with you forever?” Izuku asked dreamily as they walked hand in hand to the motorcycle.
“In theory, yah. But even if we do find them, I’ll just kidnap you again.” Katsuki smiled wildly as he plopped a helmet on his head.
“My hero!” Izuku laughed.
Izuku walked into campus nervously as everyone stared and whispered around him.
“Deku!” Rody ran to him.
“Rody! How have you been?” Deku questioned. He saw him once in the hospital but he was a complete mess and just apologized over and over while crying snot into his shirt.
“Me? I’ve learned I’m pretty invincible.” Rody laughed while flexing his arms. “I fought off that crazy girl all on my own, you know.”
“Oh…right. You did a pretty good job..not letting her get your arteries?” Izuku tried to praise him.
“I wiggled like a champ!” They both laughed while walking into their classroom when they froze at seeing Shoto in one of the seats.
“Todoroki?!” They both said at the same time.
“Midoriya. Rody. Hello.” Shoto stood up and walked up to them casually like it was a typical day of school.
He informed them that as part of the mission, he was to attend the rest of the semester at Regency with Izuku and attend all of his classes. And he would make up his UA classes overnight.
“They really are watching us like hawks!” Rody gawked.
“No, Hawks is tracking down the League.” Shoto said seriously.
“Right…” Izuku giggled. He couldn’t help but feel bad that the heroes were going so far to keep him safe. All this, just so he could go to school. But he couldn’t take his blessings for granted. At least with Rody and Shoto, he didn’t feel alone.
Katsuki strut into his agency after taking down three villains on the way to work.
“Boss, there’s someone here to see you!” Cartwheel Girl informed him.
“Can I at least get my coffee first?” Katsuki sighed.
“Got it for you right here…” Kirishima’s voice spoke, surprising him. Katsuki stared at him for a moment as he walked up sheepishly with a mug in his hand.
“What are you doing here?” He grumbled.
“Can we talk for a sec?” Eijiro nudged his shoulder toward the meeting room.
“Fine.” Katsuki sighed. “But make it worth my time.”
Once the two were alone, Eijiro sat down and placed the mug on the table.
“How’s Midoriya doing?” He asked.
“Fine.” Katsuki answered shortly.
“Look, Kats…I know I said some pretty fucked up shit…to both you and him. I don’t expect you to ever forgive me for selling you out, but I really am sorry the way things went. I’m disgusted with myself. Especially for going after him when he did nothing wrong. That was very…unmanly. I know it’s my fault that he was taken. But…” He said shakily. “I thought about what you said…how you always saw me as a really good friend..and I feel horrible that I took that for granted! So…if there’s anyway that…that we can at least try and go back to that. I-”
“I can’t be your friend, Ei.” Katsuki said bluntly before taking a deep breath. “Not right now anyway…It’s too fresh in my head. Seeing Deku in that dusty ass dirty room…holding him while he has nightmares of his friend bleeding out in front of him…it’s too soon!” He explained. “Maybe later. Maybe. Because if you hadn’t sent me his location, who knows what would have happened.”
Katsuki began to shake at the memory.
“I…I really am sorry! I never intended for the villains to take him! I never would have wanted that for him. You have to know…I truly did think UA was the safest place for him! I’m sorry Katsuki, I am!” Eijiro cried out.
“Apologize to him” Katsuki said seriously. “Apologize to Deku first…and maybe. One day when this all blows over. I’ll tolerate being around you again. Okay?”
“Right…of course.” Eijiro smiled before bowing quickly. “See ya around then.”
“See ya….”
When Eijiro left the room, Katsuki grabbed the coffee and took a sip before laughing.
“You still can’t brew a good cup for shit…” He then got a text on his phone which he anxiously read.
Deku 😎
First day is going good!
He sent along with a selfie of him with Rody and Shoto.
💥
Did you mess with my phone and change your emoji?!
Deku 😎
I do not know what you are talking about.

Deku 🤓
You didn’t say anything about the picture 😖

Send it again but crop out the extras.
Izuku sent another photo with himself smiling brightly while flipping off the camera. Katsuki smirked and saved it as his wallpaper. What a dork.
2 Years Later
“Now….it’s your turn.” Izuku pointed his finger dramatically to the audience as the curtain fell.
The audience did a standing ovation and Katsuki wiped a proud tear while Inko was a sobbing mess next to him. The curtain rose and the third years of Regency did their final bow on their last production of the night.
Izuku was so happy backstage when it was over.
“Bravo.” Katsuki greeted him with a bouquet of flowers.
“Thank you Kacchan!” Izuku took his wig off and grabbed the flowers excitedly before kissing him passionately. “You didn’t have to!”
“Of course I did…it is your birthday after all…” He whispered sweetly in Izuku’s ear.
“Oh…is it?” Izuku said slyly, buzzing with excitement.
“Yeah. It is…now let’s go have that annoying birthday dinner with your mom and the extras.” Katsuki kissed him chastely on the cheek.
“R-right!”
After dinner, they both got into the penthouse and Izuku looked anxious.
“What’s wrong, nerd?” Katsuki asked.
“Um…I know you already got me a present….or several.” Izuku blushed while playing with the gold chain Katsuki bought him on his neck. “But…can I ask for one thing?”
“Of course you can, baby.” Katsuki wrapped his arms around him and kissed him. “It’s still your birthday.”
“Okay.” Izuku huffed. “Um…um…w-wait here!” He instructed Katsuki to sit on the couch.
“Sure sure…” He yawned.
Katsuki played on his phone for about 30 minutes wondering what the heck was taking Izuku so long when suddenly, he heard his distinct footsteps pattering back down the stairs. Izuku stood in front of him wearing a robe and holding a bag in his hand.
“Did you just take a bath??”
“Y-yes! Um! I…” Izuku stuttered while blushing. “I’m 18 now!” He finally blurted out. “And…and I’ve been doing a lot of research and…and I’ve been experimenting with myself and finding out what I like and I…” He took off his robe revealing a deep green negligee. “I want..you.”
Katsuki’s jaw dropped before he stood up and pulled Izuku in close who shuddered at the contact. He tipped his chin up and traced his face loving with his hand. “You sure?”
“Mm….mmhmm.” Izuku nodded and Katsuki kissed him deeply before pulling him onto his lap on the couch.
“What’s in the bag?” Katsuki asked as traced his hands down Deku’s arms into the bag.
“I wanted to be prepared…” The 18 year old blushed as Katsuki pulled out lubricant, condoms, candles and flowers.
“Holy…you’ve been thinking about this a lot, huh?” Katsuki whispered.
“I want nothing more than to have you be a part of me…” Izuku traced his hand up Katsuki’s leg. “Inside me…” He whispered. “Please…”
“Well…it is your birthday.” Katsuki carried him, bridal style, up to his bedroom. “How can I say no?”
The next morning, Katsuki woke up feeling amazing. Everything about Deku was amazing. He turned to look at him and panicked when he noticed tears down his face.
“Baby?” Katsuki woke him up.
“Kacchan.” Izuku smiled. “You’re…awake..”
“What’s wrong?! Why are you crying?” Katsuki ran his hand through his hair in frustration as he looked at all the marks he left on Izuku. Was he too rough? Should he have resisted? Was it too much?
Izuku flung his arms around him and giggled. “I’m sorry…I don’t wanna scare you..I’m just emotional.”
“Was it too much too soon, Deku?” Katsuki asked.
“No…it was perfect…better than anything I could have imagined. I’m just crying because….I’m so happy! I’m so unbelievably happy to be with you.” He kissed him. “You were so wonderful and…I can’t believe you’re mine. All mine.”
“Well believe it…” Katsuki sighed in relief. “Because you..” He said while rolling him on top of him. “Are so fucking worth everything you could ever want. And I’m so damn lucky that’s me.”
Izuku smiled and kissed his boyfriend once again. “It really scared me, you know? When you went to war with the League last year. I was so afraid I’d lose you. But..of course you won and now I get the number one hero all to myself.” Izuku hummed.
“Not true.” Katsuki sat up and Izuku looked at him troubled.
“I don’t get you all to myself?”
“You do…but…” Katsuki stood up and grabbed a badge that said “#1” from his dresser. He pinned it to Izuku’s curls and smiled. “The one thing that kept me going and alive out there was you. You’re the thing that keeps me going every day. So, the #1 hero? That’s you, baby.”
Izuku smiled wildly at him before sealing their lips together once more and pulling him on top of him. “Mmmm…and don’t you ever forget it.”
“I won’t…” Katsuki traced Izuku’s face lovingly. “Besides, how can I forget the other half of my soul.”
“Heh…sap.”
His sap.
