Chapter Text
“Uugh…ugh my head” my head is killing me. What the hell happened to me? I take a look around to see where I am, and I quickly realize that…I’m in a classroom? My eyes were hurting for some reason, so I rubbed my eyes a little to make sure they weren’t playing tricks on me. I opened them up again and I guess they really weren't playing tricks on me. I’m actually in a classroom. Usually, I would be asleep during class, but I don’t recognize this classroom at all. Also, my sister would usually wake me up before…wait where is she? I took another look around and noticed that my sister is no where to be seen. The big metal plate on the left that’s covering what appears to be the windows. Why would a high school need that on the windows? Have I been kidnapped? There’s a blackboard that has random scribbles on it and a monitor next to it.
“This classroom is beyond creepy. I’m getting out of here” as I was about to leave, I noticed something on the teacher's desk. “A note?” I picked up the foldable that looks like it's been made with no care. The note says:
'Welcome to Hope's Peak Academy,
Please head to the ENTRANCE HALL by 8:00 am.
Starting today, this school will be your entire world.'
What the hell? Is this someone's idea of a joke? But wait...If what that note says is true...then that must mean that I'm in Hope's Peak Academy! But how did I get here? Oh yeah! I've gotten my acceptance letter last week and my sis and I just arrived today and...did I pass out? "I must've passed out from the excitement. Now that I think about it we did arrive pretty early, maybe sis brought me here until orientation." I assured.
I take a quick glance at the clock above the chalkboard and ...HOLY CRAP IT'S 8:09 am. Was I really out for that long?! "I gotta get to the ENTRANCE HALL!" I told myself. I then ran out of the classroom and ran down the purple lit hallway. I take quick glances at each door to find the ENTANCE HALL. All of the doors were closed except for the one across from seems to be a store. "I guess this is it." I said nervously as I walked through the door.
As soon as I walked I immediately notice 14 other students in the room. I was about to say something until a boy in a white uniform came charging at me. "It is 8:14 am!" The boy said as he pointed at his watch. "You are 14 minutes late! Lateness will not be tolerated in this school! Especially on your first day!" His screams were deafening and it didn't help that he was a few inches away from me.
Luckily, a girl with a huge ponytail quickly defended me. "It's not like he wanted to be late, you know!" She said with an overwhelming amount of sass. "We were all knocked out remember?! Maybe he got lost trying to find his way here, it is our first time at this school."
After hearing this the white suited boy immediately regrets his decision and started apologizing. "I'm sorry for acting out of line! I hadn't realized that that could have happened to someone here! Please forgive me!" He yelled while bowing. He somehow got even louder then before...he really is an ultimate.
"I-it's ok. Anyone could've made that mistake." He stopped bowing and gave me a radiant smile. He was about to say something but the tall blond boy with glasses spoke first. "Now that that catastrophe is over can we please get back to what we were talking about."
"Of course but first I recommend we introduce ourselves first" the blue haired girl in the sailor uniform said. She looks familiar, have I seen her somewhere before? "Yes I agree! It would be easier to communicate with each other if we know more about them!" Everyone either nodded or smiled in agreement except one.
"We don't have time for that! We need to figure out why we all passed out" the glasses wearing blond said in annoyance. "We can just give out our names and our talents" the muscular woman in a sailor uniform suggested. "We don't have to waste anymore time after that."
"Fine. Listen well commoners because I'm only going to say this once. My name is Byakuya Togami, the Ultimate Affluent Progeny." Jeez this guy has no chill. "Hmph, is someone else going to introduce themselves or are we just gonna stand here all day."
"Ah! Of course! I am the Ultimate Moral Compass Kiyotaka Ishimaru! It is a real honor to meet you all!" After Kiyotaka's introduction more people began to introduce themselves one at a time.
"Sup! My name is Aoi Asahina, the Ultimate Swimming Pro! But you guys can call me Hina!"
"My name is Sakura Ogami and I am the Ultimate Martial Artist. Nice to meet you all."
"I'm Leon Kuwata, Ultimate Baseball Star, Future Ultimate Musician Haha."
"N-not that a-any of you would care but m-my name is Toko Fukawa and I'm the Ultimate Writing Prodigy."
"Hi! I'm Sayaka Maizono, the Ultimate Pop Sensation! I look forward getting to know you!"
"Yo. I'm Yasuhiro Hagakure and I'm the Ultimate Clairvoyant. I predict we are all gonna become great friends."
"Hiiii! I'm Junko Enoshima. Charmed I'm sure! I'm the Ultimate Fashionista!"
"Greetings everyone. My name is Celestia Lunenburg but you can call me Celeste if it's to hard to pronounce. My Ultimate Talent is Gambling."
"Hey. The name's Mondo Owada, Biker Gang Leader. Nice to fuckin' meet ya."
"Greetings comrades, I'm Hifumi Yamada! The Ultimate Fanfic Creater!"
"Hello. Nice to meet you. I'm Chihiro Fujisaki and my talent is programming."
The last two people that haven't introduced themselves is the lavender haired girl who is closest to what seems to be the entrance door. Now that I think about it I don't remember seeing this door. When did they install this? It wasn't long until I finally had the courage to introduce myself.
"My name is Makoto Naegi and my Ultimate talent is luck, but I guess compared to everyone else's talent I'm not sure if I belong here. Haha" Smooth. After that sad excuse for an introduction, everyone looked at me like I was stupid but I guess they're not wrong. Thankfully, the awkward stares didn't last long when the lavender haired girl finally says something.
"If I'm not mistaken, I believe that I'm only one left." The lavender haired girl finally spoke. Everyone quickly took their attention off of me and on to her.
"Hm. I had almost forgotten about you. Well then, care to state your name and talent?" Byakuya sneered.
"...My name is Kyoko Kirigiri..." that was all she said...her name. Byakuya was the first to say something after that. "And? What's your talent?"
"It's none of your concern." She said that with little to no emotion. Jeez the people here are insane. "Excuse me?! If you haven't noticed everyone before you has given a reason as to why they attend this school so if you haven't got a talent I'd leave if I were you." Byakuya said with anger. After awhile, Sakura and Sayaka tried to dissolve the one-sided argument with Byakuya yelling at Kyoko and Kyoko paying him no mind. I couldn't help but giggle at this. Me and my sister would always fight like that. With me being the one yelling of course. Wait a minute! I look around again and she's not here! Why did it feel like she was here?! I gotta ask someone if they've seen her. Maybe she went to the bathroom or something. Yeah, that's it.
The closest person to me was the programmer girl, Chihiro. Maybe she knows. I walked over to her and tapped her lightly on the shoulder. She jumped at the sudden touch on her shoulder which ended up causing me to jump as well. "S-sorry I didn't mean to scare you!" I said in a panic.
"I-it's fine," she said quietly. She then looked at the floor. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have jumped like that."
Her eyes are starting to get watery. I've gotta fix this. "Please don't blame yourself, I shouldn't have tapped you to get your attention. If it makes you feel any better-" I pulled out a clover that was in my left pocket. "-here. It's my lucky clover. It cheers me up when I'm felling down and I always feel lucky when I have it."
She looked at me with the "are you sure?" look and I smiled and nodded. She then hesitantly grabbed the clover from my hand and smiled. "T-thank you". Her face is turning red. I hope the clover isn't doing that. Oh yeah! I have to ask her about my sister.
"Hey, so have you seen my sister?" I asked. She then looked at me with a confused look. "Your sister?"
"Yeah, did you see her around here?" She shook her head. "Um no I don't think so. Sorry If I couldn't be of any help." She looks sad again. Uh oh. "N-no it's okay, she's probably in the bathroom or something." Her sad face almost immediately turns into a bright smile. Which ended up making me smile to. "Oh ok, I hope I get to meet her soon! It'll be nice to make another friend!" Wait she considers me a...friend? I couldn't hold in my joy as my smile grew brighter. But it didn't last because not to long after that an alarm went off and the monitor turned on. Ending our conversation and ending the one-sided argument between Byakuya and Kyoko that I've completely forgotten about.
The monitor suddenly showed a silhouette of what appears to be a...bear? The silhouette clear their throat and then began talking. "Is this thing on? Testing...testing. Can you hear me? Good! Then let's get this party started! Now make your way to the GYMNASIUM. I'll be waiting. The monitor then turned off. I guess now we have to make our way to the GYMNASIUM. I hope sis is there.
"Well, it looks like it's time for orientation! Let us all head to the GYMNASIUM!" Kiyotaka said while marching out the room. One by one everyone left the door. As I was making my way out someone grabbed my jacket. I turned to see Chihiro, red faced and looking at the floor. "C-can I walk with you?" Was all she said. I didn't know where the GYMNASIUM was and I don't mind having company so I nodded. We then walked out the ENTRANCE HALL and towards the GYMNASIUM.
