Chapter Text
Another sunny day just started. The café was near to the opening hour, but suddenly a sound of the door lock opening quietly echoed around. Two girls entered the place, laughing. With a smile on their faces, they went to the backroom, to get ready for another busy day at the café.
“Hello Dongie” the both of the girls said at the same time when they saw a blonde woman
“Oh, Binnie, Yoohyeonnie, it’s good to see you two” the woman said smiling to them
“Did you fed the cats?” Yubin asked
“Yes, but-“
“We need to find Dami?” Yoohyeon asked laughing
“Yes, exactly and girls…soon we will have a new cat here” Handong said
“Really?” both of the girls was visibly excited about it
“Yes, so you can think about the name for it, but now, go look for Dami, we need to open soon”
And both of the girls went to the main room, looking for the cat. They started to get to know where the cat likes to hide, but every time it was a different place. While searching, in one moment Yubin noticed that Yoohyeon was sitting on the floor, she got distracted by two cats.
“Yoohyeon…” Yubin said coming closer to the girl with a soft smile
“It’s their fault” the blonde girl said while petting the orange cat
“I know, but come on, we need to find her” Yubin said gently hitting the girl on head
Yoohyeon with quiet laugh stood up and came back to searching the cat. It didn’t take long to find the cat, she was hiding behind the counter. After letting Handong know that they found the cat, the girls finally opened the café.
“Oh, I got the name for the cat!” Yoohyeon said when she sat on the chair behind the counter
“What name?” Yubin asked curious
“Byul”
Yubin was looking at the girl in silent for a moment, but Yoohyeon could see how a soft smile showed up on her face
“That’s actually a good one” the girl finally said
The day was passing by calmly. The traffic in the café, for their surprise was small today. In one moment, when the bell hanging above the door rang, the girls saw black haired girl coming towards the counter.
“Hello Gahyeon” Yubin said
“Hello girls, can I get my usually? I really need coffee, I didn’t sleep well today” the girl said sitting on the chair by the counter
“Why? Something happened?” Yoohyeon asked a little worried
“Dummy, today she will know if she got accepted to the university” Yubin said
“Already?!”
“Yes…I couldn’t sleep because I’m worrying about it” Gahyeon said laying her head on the counter
“That reminds me of me, when I was waiting for the results, I had stomach ache because of the stress, but when I got the information that I was accepted, I was sleeping like a baby that night” Yoohyeon laughed
“I’m counting hours…I just want to know already. It’s killing me” Gahyeon said
Yubin looked at Yoohyeon, they both was a little worried about the younger one.
“We understand your stress, little fox. I can’t guarantee you that you will get accepted, but I think we both are more than sure about it” Yubin said looking at Yoohyeon
“Of course! Don’t lose hope, Gah” Yoohyeon said ruffling her hair
The younger girl only laughed quietly. Being honest she kinda didn’t believe in her success, but she knew that this two are always here to cheer on her. She already knew that she can rely on Yubin, but when she met Yoohyeon it turned out that both of them are her best supports, beside her sister.
“Did someone said to you, that you both are amazing?” she said
“Yeah, you did” Yoohyeon laughed
“Here, your coffee. And Yooh is right, don’t lose hope” Yubin said sending her an assuring smile
“Thank you, when I will know the results I will call you” the younger girl said, leaving the place with a smile
“You better do!” Yoohyeon said
The rest of the day went by really fast for them. They didn’t even notice when the closing hours came. After closing the café and saying goodbye to Handong they leaded their steps to their flat. On the way stopping by in the convenient store to buy some snacks. They wanted to watch some movie when they get back to the flat. When they entered the flat, they sat on the couch. Yoohyeon right away snuggled herself into Yubin.
“Hey, Binnie…” Yoohyeon started
The short haired girl only hummed questioningly
“Remember when I told you that…it would be nice to travel somewhere together?”
“Yeah…I remember. Why you asking?” Yubin answered
“Well…I thought, because the break is soon and we will have some free time from university and work…I was thinking about, that we could do it now” the blonde girl said a little shy
“You planned something, didn’t you?” Yubin said laughing
“Yes, I do” Yoohyeon answered giggling
“Well, if you planned something I guess we can think about it”
“Really?!”
“And why you are so surprised?” Yubin said gently hitting Yoohyeon on head
Suddenly Yubin phone rang, disturbing their conversation and when she looked at the screen, she was a little surprised.
“What’s up, Siyeon?” Yubin asked answering the call
“Hi, so I got a good news…Gahyeon got accepted” the girl said
“Really?” Yubin felt really happy
“Yes, so we want to do a small celebration party, like in two hours, so I hope you two will show up” Siyeon said
“Of course we will come! But…why she didn’t call us herself?”
“Gahyeon was too stunned to speak, actually she still is” Siyeon laughed
“Ah, I understand. Alright we will come for sure!” Yubin laughed
“Great! See you soon” Siyeon said hanging up
Yubin put her phone on the table, Yoohyeon already after the smile on her face could guess what happened
“So she got accepted?” She said looking at Yubin
“Yes” Yubin said
“I knew she will got it” Yoohyeon said laying her head on Yubin chest
“I knew it too and also we going to a celebration party” Yubin said rubbing her back
“Alright, she would be sad if we didn’t come” Yoohyeon laughed
“True…and Yooh” Yubin started
“What’s going on Yub?” the blonde haired girl asked curious
“We will talk about your plan when we come back okay?” The short haired girl said
“If you want to” the blonde girl said sending her a smile
“Of course I would want to” Yubin giggled, moving closer to the girl and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead
Yoohyeon smiled wide at these words, moved away a bit and placed a kiss on Yubin lips. The short haired girl was a little surprised but when she felt a pleasant warm inside her, she embraced Yoohyeon, pulling her a bit closer. When they break the kiss, Yoohyeon again send a bright smile to Yubin and lay her head on the girl chest again. The short haired girl, smiled and started to rub Yoohyeon back. In this type of situations Yubin couldn’t help but just think about how much she love the other girl. In fact, they met by accident, but now she couldn’t imagine how her life would look like without her.
“Don’t you think we should bring something for Gahyeon?” Yoohyeon said
“I think, I have one idea, but we will need to go to the shop” Yubin said laughing
After they finally left the flat, they went to the shop Yubin said about and bought a gift for Gahyeon. When they arrived to Siyeon flat, they already heard that Bora and Minji are here, only but loud laughing. Everyone welcomed then as usual loud and warm, but they realized that Handong isn’t here, but Siyeon said she couldn’t come. The party begin, the girls ordered the food. Someone also brought alcohol. They were sitting together in the living room. Laughing and talking had no end. In one moment, Yubin went to kitchen to open the bottle of wine, of course Yoohyeon went with her, but when they couldn’t find a bottle opener Siyeon went to help her look for it and Gahyeon with her. Bora and Minji was observing them from the living room.
“Don’t you think Yubin is more cheerful since she met Yoohyeon?” Bora said moving closer to Minji
“You think so?” Minji said
“Look at them!” Bora said looking at the girls
When Minji looked at the girls who was struggling to open the bottle of wine, laughing till tears, Yoohyeon hitting Yuibn arm, she smiled softly.
“Yeah, you right, but...that is important, that they are happy...” Minji said
/Flashback/
Another day at the flower shop, was going by slowly and calmly. Minji was watering the flowers when suddenly she heard a doorbell ringing. She looked at the entrance and saw two girls.
“Oh, Binnie, Yoohyeon, what brings you two here” she asked curious
“We want to talk with you” Yubin started
“Sure, I’m listening” Minji said putting down the watering can
“I don’t know how to start, but...You all asking us lately how we met, right?” Yoohyeon said
“Well, it’s normal, right? We know Binnie for long time so we want to know her friend, especially looking by how close you both are” Minji laughed
“Honestly it’s hard to explain how we met” Yoohyeon said a little shy
Minji got a little curious, she saw how Yubin is rubbing her back, clearly comforting her
“If you don’t want to talk about it-”
“No, no it’s not that. It’s just...hard, but Yubin said we can trust you” Yoohyeon laughed
“Of course...” Minji said
Yoohyeon took a deep breath
“Before I met Yubin I had a car accident and I end up in coma...but all the time I was in coma I was... a half-ghost with a cat tail and in that time I met Yubin...and I was with her all that time...” Yoohyeon explained
Minji in silent was looking at them, thinking. Yubin was still rubbing Yoohyeon back, trying to relax her a bit.
“Ah, I see why Yubin said you can trust me with this” Minji said
“Why?”
“Because I know a person who come through the same thing and...you know her too” the older giggled
“What? Who?” Yoohyeon asked surprised
But when she didn’t get the answer, she looked at Yubin, who with her head pointed at Minji
“Wait...it’s you?”
“Haha..yes, but I was in Yubin place” Minji said
“Then who was in my place?” the blond haired girl asked
“Bora” Yubin answered
“Bora, what?!” Yoohyeon was completely surprised
“Yes, it was long time ago, but I still remember how out of nowhere she showed up in my flat” Minji laughed
“But, what happened to her, do you know?”
“I know, but Bora didn’t like to talk about it so I also won’t do it” the older woman said
“Oh, I understand”
Minji saw how Yoohyeon got a little better. The shyness disappears and a soft smile showed up on her face. She was definitely relived.
“Honestly, it doesn’t matter how do you both met, what is important, that you both are happy together” Minji said putting her hands on girls heads and send them a warm smile
/End of Flashback/
“Minji!” she heard the voice of Bora
“What?”
“You zoned out, why?” Bora asked
“Nothing important, don’t worry” Minji answered placing a kiss on the other girl cheek
“Maybe help them, before they hurt themselves” Bora said
“You right”
Whit the help of Minji they finally opened the bottle. They spend rest of the evening talking and drinking, of course there also was some stupid games Bora sugested. Finally, after long time they spend together, the time come to go back home.
“Ah, Binnie!” Yoohyeon said giving Yubin a bag
“Oh, right I nearly forgot...Gahyeon!” Yubin said
“Yes?” the younger one asked curious coming to the girl
“Here, this is for you, congratulation again” Yubin said giving the bag for the girl
Gahyeon curious reach inside the bag and took out a small fox plushy
“We know it’s just a plushy, but...you moving out, right? So we wanted to give you something that will remind you of us” Yoohyeon explained
Gahyeon looked at the girls and again at plushy. She squeeze it gently and smiled, but suddenly she hugged the girls.
“Thank you so much” she whispered
“We will miss you little fox” Yubin said
“Hey, it’s not for forever” Gahyeon laughed
“Yeah, but even so...” Yoohyeon said
“I know, I will miss you two too” Gahyeon said tightening the hug
“Hey, hey, don’t get too sad. She will be visiting us, right?” Siyeon said joining the hug
“Of course!”
“I hope you will come for you last coffee” Yubin laughed
“Oh, damn, your coffee will be a thing I will miss the most” Gahyeon said
“So it’s not us?!” Yoohyeon joked
All of them bursted with laugh. Finally, Yubin and Yoohyeon left Siyeon flat and started to coming back to their flat.
“So what is your plan?” Yubin asked when they were slowly walking by the sidewalk
“Hm? AH! I thought...we could travel across the country, you know, at the beginning. I found some places and...I have some money saved” Yoohyeon explained
“I think it’s a good idea, for the beginning” Yubin said
“Really?”
“Yes, you will show me the places you choose when we come back, right?” Yubin asked
“Of course!”
“Then we can start to think about the good plan”
“Ahhh, I can’t wait!” Yoohyeon said trying to jump on Yubin back to get a piggyback ride
