Chapter Text
[Monday morning at school]
It was Monday morning and there Katsuki was waltzing into the classroom like he owned the place, with nothing on his face but smiles. His classmates assumed that he was just happy to be fully recovered and back at school, but he was ecstatic for an entirely different reason.
katsuki sat at the desk he's been sitting at for two whole years and never once has he looked back at Deku, today was different. He couldn't stop himself from sneaking glimpses at his boyfriend. Whenever their eyes meet he'd blush uncontrollably and turn away ever so quickly. It's like he was mesmerized and a completely different person. This version of Katsuki was shy, he was sensitive, and a complete dork when he was with Deku. With anyone else though, it was a different experience.
Deku sat directly behind Katsuki. He saw how flushed Katsuki's neck was from blushing. Deku smiled and tore off a piece of paper from his notebook. He wrote something on it and passed it to Katsuki.
"I have something to tell you tonight, will you come to my room later?"
Katsuki opened it and began to write too.
"Whatever it is, you can tell me while I'm rearranging your guts. Love you."
He opened a juice box, took a sip, passed the paper
back to Deku and smirked at him. Deku opened it eagerly, he wanted to know what that evil smirk was about. The moment he read the note his face froze. completely red as a Tomato. Under his breath, he whispered so only Katsuki could hear.
"I love you too"
Katsuki immediately heard him and choked on his juice, drawing the attention of Mr. Aizawa in his direction. He scolded Katsuki for disturbing the class and sent him to the nurse's office because he assumed he was sick from how red his face was. There were no other set of words that could possibly get a rise out of Katsuki, just those three simple words that meant the world to him.
The sweet sweet romance between a nerd and a hot headed delinquent, nothing seemed better and nothing seemed to matter more to both of them. They were so very in love with each other, and now more than ever it seemed that they'd spend eternity by each other's side.
Deku would find his way wondering over to Katsuki's room because he was so accustomed to being there and Katsuki would be waiting for him every time. Until the very day they graduated, Deku and Katsuki were together always. Whether they'd sit and talk over ice cream, watch a movie at Katsuki's house or ever have family dinners together, they were always tied to each other.
Some may think that being together every day of your life with the one you love is a bit of a stretch and people prefer some amount of personal space... But the very fact that they were fortune enough to have so much time together was nothing more than a blessing for both of them.
After graduation Deku went on to become a full fledged hero and Katsuki as well. Now that they were both in the Frontline of danger and a busy schedule, it got harder and harder to see each other. With both of them working for different agencies, their distance only grew apart, but Katsuki was determined to see his lover so he made sure to make plans for the Christmas holiday.
He showed up at Deku's apartment one evening to surprise him but no one was home. Katsuki used his spare key that was given to him and went inside from the cold.
He took a look around to make sure Deku didn't fall asleep in the bath like he usually does but something caught his eye.
There on the bed were crimpled sheets and an employee badge that wasn't Deku's. It belonged to none other than Todoroki Shoto. Right there and then Katsuki started blowing steam. He already didn't like Todoroki because of his past with Deku and the idea of Deku cheating with Todoroki got him even angrier.
Katsuki left that night and didn't say a word about it to Deku as he passed Deku coming through the front door on his way out.
