Months passed, and they both only grew closer with them falling for each other but afraid to vocalize their feelings since being separated by long distance.
Time went on, Jungkook graduated and it had been a whole month of not having to talk properly with Taehyung because of Jungkook's university finals.
So, it surprised Taehyung when he got a call from Jungkook asking him to come outside of the apartment right now.
Taehyung was completely confused about what exactly was going on but still went outside his apartment and he completely froze at his door.
Outside his apartment was standing a whole Jungkook with a suitcase and a bag in hand.
Not realizing the wetness on his cheeks, Taehyung suddenly ran and jumped in Jungkook's arms. Jungkook just hugged him back as tightly as humanly possible and soothed the sniffling guy in his hold, who Jungkook had come to associate as his own source of happiness and warmth.
After calming down, Taehyung got embarrassed and started blushing profusely but Jungkook kept an arm around his waist, kissing Taehyung's cheeks causing them to brighten more if it was even possible.
After they both went inside, Taehyung made coffee for them as he knew their shared love for the beverage from the heated discussion they had on it once some months back,
He served the coffee and settled down on the couch alongside Jungkook but kept a distance between them waiting for Jungkook to explain the reason for his sudden arrival.
Jungkook frowned at that and pulled Taehyung close to him causing him to be pressed up against Jungkook's side.
He proceeded to put an arm around Taehyung's shoulders and kissed his forehead.
Taehyung blushed again not able to understand the reason behind the affection and kisses from Jungkook.
While sipping his Jungkook explained everything to Taehyung about him graduating and bagging a job in Taehyung's city via his university recruitment process.
All of this was so sudden for Taehyung that he didn't realize that he hasn't uttered a word for 5 minutes now and was just blankly looking at Jungkook.
Jungkook just chuckled lightly at Taehyung's reaction and thought to kiss his cheeks again to make him realize the wonderful fact that now no distance will be separating them and maybe... maybe now they can actually act upon their feelings and finally be together.
Taehyung involuntarily and for the umpteenth time that day blushed again but this time his eyes moistened and he pulled Jungkook in a tight hug finally absorbing the fact that, yes, they can be together.
No more distance, no more waiting for night to fall upon to be able to talk, no more feeling lonely.... just them now, them being happily together.
