Chapter Text
About a month after prom had taken place, the Manor had restored itself to its former structure, and Peter had promised he’d make things better for SAM. However it was she who was having what looked like a nightmare this very moment. The room soon glowed emerald green though; she was having a Green Imbalance.
Word had spread around the area of the frequent impulses appearing in and out of Walter Manor. One man took keen interest in this and somehow made the connection to the bot in his freak show all those years ago. “This girl…she was in my freak show in the past,” he thought, then remembered, “That’s right. She could separate her limbs at the joints. She’s now at Walter Manor? Well then, I will pay Peter and his robots a visit. And I will take her back if it’s the LAST THING I DO!!”
SAM woke with a start, trying to settle her imbalanced core. She realized she knew the man in her vision; he took her into Cirque Eos and considered her a freak of science and nature. She had to warn Peter, but where was he? She often got lost and couldn’t find the rooms that easily in the dark. Pushing those thoughts aside, she ran down the halls until she stumbled down the stairs into the main foyer. Her limbs detached and scattered all around the floor. Just then Sage Juniper, in her wolf form, saw her and nosed her limbs back to her chassis. “Thanks, Sage. Do you know where Peter is?” SAM asked. Sage nodded, and let out a howl which naturally woke him up.
“Sage? Really? At this…SAM?” Peter yawned and then was alarmed seeing the red-eyed robot. “Peter? Sorry she woke you up, but this is urgent,” she apologized. “What’s wrong? Another Imbalance?” he asked. “A Green one,” she said, looking through his mask. “The vision I saw involved a living man. Peter, someone’s coming for me. He’s coming with ill intentions. He can’t find me!” As she said this, she began to feel tears in her eyes. He gently hugged her, assuring her, “Don’t worry. We’ll find a way to keep you. Clearly.”
