John Watson has always been an extraordinary man. No one really notices because Sherlock gets all the attention, Until one day they have to rely on his expertise to rescue Sherlock.
Ok so, this is kind of vague but I just wanted BAMF!John rescuing his Damsel in distress!Sherlock, it could be a one shot, although it would be awesome if the story incorporates different chapters showing how competent John is as both a doctor and captain(although him being a secret MI6 agent is not bad either). I've always seen John being portrayed as somewhat of an exasperated flatmate and I truly believe that is not him AT ALL.
BONUS POINTS if we get one of those classic to the rescue poses in action movies but with sherlock as the person who is eternally grateful to his John and in the end John gets to eat that Sherlock booty.
