Archive of Our Own

31_days is a multi-fandom day-by-day writing challenge. Every month, a set of prompts will be posted with one prompt for each day. You have that whole day to post a work for that prompt. The prompts can be found here at dreamwidth and here at livejournal

1. Create a fanwork (fanfiction, fanart, podfic, graphics...) for a prompt and post it on the day of that prompt.

2. Once a day/prompt passes you by, you can still post your work on the last day of every month, also known as Amnesty Day.

3. There are no sign-ups. Feel free to choose any fandom and any character or pairing you want.

5. Feel free to choose whichever prompt to write for, as they inspire you. You can swap any day of the month with a bonus prompt.

6. Ratings may range from G to NC-17 as long as you label your fics properly.

7. The final day of each month is "Amnesty Day". On this day you can post fics for any of the previous months' prompts. If you plan on posting more than one work that was written for previous prompts, please put them into one post.

8. When submitting fanworks, please make sure they go into the right collection (the year in which the prompt was posted).

Please note: There is no posting restriction on the dreamwidth comm. Post whenever you feel like it.
