Spring Cleaning!
What is it?
This is the perfect time to grab those pages that have been nagging at the back of your mind for so long and rekindle the flame!

Spring Cleaning is a motivational Event designed to continuation and/or completion of older works rather than inspiring you to start something new. Any crossover, fandom, genre, trope, pairing, rating is fair play and the only catch is it has to be something that you’ve previously worked toward already.

When is it?
Annually from March 1st until April 1st

What’s in it for you?;
— Boundless pride and a sense of accomplishment!
— A spot in the Spring Cleaning Collection!
— Did I mention pride, joy, relief?
— Raffle Prizes!

Yes, you may;
— contribute a previously unposted work that’s gathered dust on your drive, in your notebook, on a napkin, the bathroom wall, wherever!
— contribute a work that is already partially posted on AO3 and has at least one new update as of March 1st this year.

No, you don’t have to;
— complete the work during this event in order to submit to the Collection. Adding a new chapter or posting a previously unposted work you’ve been quietly writing on is enough!
— worry about any min or max word count. There is none. The idea is that you simply dust off a neglected work, make those pages shine again, and take pride in having done so!
— submit to the Collection if you don’t want to, but please know the option is there!

Remember, this is to encourage all of you to show your past works some love instead of starting something new! To take away from that neglected pile rather than add on to it. Breathe new life into a forgotten story beat! To rediscover the road you once set upon, take another step in that adventure. To feel good and proud of contributing new words to an old work which is the biggest incentive here!
