Somehow, Geralt always managed to forget how spending time around Regis was like being caught in a good-natured whirlwind. His first real smile in days was threatening to break out any moment. "Damn, I missed you."
"A wholly mutual feeling, I assure you. You really should have come to me much sooner."
I wasn't sure of my welcome, was the bitter truth, and more than could be uttered aloud. Already, it seemed shameful that he'd ever doubted.

Summary
“Can I help you?” called a pleasant voice. The far door opened to admit a slim figure of a man wearing a stained apron, dark-eyed, the hair at his temples streaked with grey. At the sight of Geralt, he quickly brightened. “Ah! You must be the witcher – here about the zeugl contract, I suppose?”
(Or: the one which is basically A Shard of Ice, only with Regis as the other man in Yennefer's life instead of Istredd, and where things reach a much happier conclusion for all involved.)
