[My summaries are getting more incomprehensible by the day. Basically, no one knows about the whole 'adult body' dilemma and I wanted to continue along with the thought as to why he snapped back to being an anklebiter in the epilogue]

Summary
Like alcohol, his nightly habitual routine had it’s draw backs. Mainly the guilt and the promise to never give into his whims, to ultimately fail when the opportunity to continue presented itself. He'd thought and written countless speeches in which he confessed to his addiction, seeking solace and forgiveness as he admitted that what he was doing crossed a line of appropriateness. However, whenever the opportunity came to confess and say his piece, something stopped him, the fear that the friendship that they had, the companionship even their working relationship would change for the worse, made him back out and live with his guilt alone.

There's no rule against close friends sleeping in the same bed. So long as boundaries are observed, tact is remembered and people with cold FEET keep them on their side of the bed. A series of stories about times the two leaders of the 10th shared a bed and the inevitable way it will end.
