It was Thrawn’s favorite time of the year.
The streets and plazas outside of the marketplace nearest Taharim Academy had been turned into an exhibition zone for the best ice sculptors in this part of the Ascendancy to show off their skills. Artists everywhere this week would be chipping, chiseling, torching, and brushing at solid blocks of ice both large and small, bringing forth magnificent creations that would melt away to nothing by the end of the season.
