Summary
“Good afternoon, Felix.” Dimitri started, as if it was a normal conversation he was going to be having, with a friend even, by the simple smile in his lips and the vibrancy in his eye. Part of the burn scars on his face couldn’t be hidden by that dreadfully black eye patch. “I need to discuss an urgent matter with you.”
Felix’s gaze was hard on Dimitri, refusing to get up from his chair and do more than just turn his head. He didn’t offer the couch for Dimitri to sit on, it felt better to watch Dimitri stand unsure, shifting in his feet, even if he doesn't enjoy it. Even if he wished things could have been different between them.
“You sure fucking do.” Felix spoke with a low voice, bitter and tired. “Like why I am here in the first place, kept like an animal. If I’m to be jailed for treason, at least have the decency to make it clear.”
