Hey Malfoy,
Teddy wrote to me this morning saying that you stepped in yesterday and took him to the zoo. Thank you! I was disappointed I had to cancel but it all worked out and Teddy had a blast.
I’m still feeling rather poorly with the full moon just around the corner. I really shouldn't complain much, I have it a lot easier than Remus did.
The wolfsbane helps during the full moon but the days leading up to it are terrible, just as you’d warned. It’s really hard being around people and the zoo would’ve been hell. All those sounds and smells amplified would’ve given me a monster headache.
You were right about the other symptoms too. Sometimes my bones feel too big for my skin. Yesterday I was suffering from fatigue and itchiness. I seem to have scratched myself raw. So...what I want to say is, could you perhaps send me something to help soothe my skin?
Yes, this is me asking for your help. And I’m sorry I was such a stubborn prick (as you so kindly mentioned every time this topic came up).

I will refrain from saying I told you so. But I did.
As it happens, I spoke to Teddy yesterday about how you were feeling. Merely enquiring out of politeness, you understand.
In the box is a stronger version of wolfsbane. It’s experimental, but I think it could help. There are also two jars of salve. The one with the red label is to help soothe your skin. If you apply it twice a day, it should give a full day’s protection.
The jar with the blue label can be applied to help with the aches associated with your bones feeling too big. It won’t cure them, but it should at least dampen the pain somewhat.
Is there anything else you need from me? I would hate to think you weren’t able to look after Teddy again. Not that I minded taking him, of course. But I know how fond you are of him. And I have done a lot of reading up on lycanthropy.
Anyway, I hope this helps.

Thank you, you miracle worker. Both salves are so effective and helped ease my discomfort. The red one has a calming scent that didn’t aggravate me at all. The blue jar was rather effective with my aches.
Is this the wolfsbane version you’ve been working on? I hope sending me some doesn’t cause you any trouble. I’ll try it during this full moon and report back to you.

I’m very glad to hear the salves helped. They haven’t been rigorously tested, but I was sure they could help. The scent was something I thought could be of benefit, so I’m pleased that it wasn’t aggravating. It means I’ve got it about right.
Don’t worry about that. I am allowed to choose my ‘test subjects’, as it were. Please don’t think that’s all this is about. I really did want to help.

I used your version of wolfsbane and I must say you are on the right track, Healer Malfoy. None of my full moons have been this seamless. I slept through most of the night and it didn't taste as vile as the normal potion.
