With their names signed into the ledger, Miroku and Sango are now husband and wife. It feels almost impossible that they would have this moment, this happiness, in spite of everything that has happened, but they are here, together, to celebrate. As Miroku leads Sango back to their hut, to make love to her for the very first time, he cannot help but thank the kami for giving him this chance to be with the one that he loves. The one that he lives for. When Sango lays in her marriage bed, jubilation dancing in her eyes, she thinks of her husband, too: the light that led her out of the darkness.
