‘Where did this dominating force come from?’ Sasuke knows Sakura’s self-confidence is a direct development from her fear of being left behind by her teammates. Sasuke and Sakura work together to unclothe him. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Sasuke marvels at the flat plane of strong muscles on Sakura’s waist and remembers that there’s a reason for all this patience, pining, and desperately waiting: Sakura longs so badly to be pregnant with his children, and, really, who is Sasuke to deny his wife any happiness?

Sarada was hesitant. Still with the situation murky and unclear, she did not know whether she should linger or simply pretend she had seen nothing. Perhaps she should have simply looked for a way back to reality, her reality. However, she spontaneously found herself hiding behind the nearest tree. Eavesdropping was not like her, but how could she silence her curiosity? It was certainly not something that happened every day, to meet one's parents in...what? A time travel? A dream? A hallucination? It was not important at the moment.(...)
