Hopefully others will be interested in this concept too but I will write at least a fic for every month myself if I have to!

(The following is my personal opinion. Please don’t take it as absolute truth.)

1. What is considered character bashing?

Bashing a character is not the same as criticising a character. I think the easiest way to explain this is with an example.

Take some of the depictions of Alya, particularly in regards to Lila. There are some fics that show her bullying Marinette, beating her up both mentally and physically. She's turned into a bully out of nowhere. (If you show the development, the way she transforms then go for it. Otherwise, no.)

If you show Alya getting into trouble for running towards fight all the time and risking her safety, that's criticism. If Alya is called out for trying to test her theories and being too reckless/forceful in the process, that’s criticism.

1. Character bashing: Please refrain from excessive character bashing. While it can be enjoyable in occasional doses, the main ML characters are teenagers and should not be judged like adults. Criticising characters, on the other hand, is fine.

2. Don’t actually have a second rule. If anyone interacts with this might need to make a second rule.
