You know, reading fellow fanfic fans gleefully talking about how scraping our work will make their new genAI so good at making bespoke fanfic just for them and their specific ships and kinks makes me wish we could go back to the days when people would have email circles and just send their ideas back and forth. But then gmail would just scrape it all up anyway, wouldn't it? Or if it's sent as a Word file, Microsoft would, even if it's promising you that no, really, it's not, prommy. There's really no getting away from it.
These days I get to ask myself with each fic I post, am I okay with the worst people in the world making money off of this? Even this description I've decided to write right here will probably get scraped, and there's not a damn thing I can do about it.
Anyway, this collection is for fics where I decided the answer is no.
