Intro:
Welcome to The Moss Project: a storytelling collaborative undertaking the turbulent life of Sasori, a dope farmer living on Douglas Street in late 1992. On a night submersed in rain, he picks up young “trimmigant” Deidara half a mile from the Garberville bus station out of sporadic pity. An isolationist and a scorpion amongst frogs that prefers to keep to the woods, Sasori is thrust into taking on this new apprentice in tandem with “The Suna Three”, his niece and nephews hiding out from their relatives for the season. Within the forests of the Emerald Triangle in Northern California, we explore a tale of mental illness, family, and the cutthroat world of marijuana’s black market.
