Summary
One second they are exploring an ancient ritualistic cave and the next Obi-Wan catches sight of his unruly, infinitely curious Padawan reaching out to touch a foreign object. A holocron. Klaxon level alarm bells sound in the Force; so Obi-Wan reacts on instinct, diving across the space separating them and Force-shoves Anakin out of the way.
***
OR AOTC Obi-Wan time travels to ROTS Anakin and finds his Padawan is little more than an angsty, depressed mess. There's nothing to do but rectify the lack of direction the lad so clearly needs.

Summary
In need of a professional with a particular set of skills, the Resistance seeks a renowned smuggler by the name of Starkiller in order to rescue one of its key members from the clutches of the Empire. Chaos most certainly ensues and while some things go as planned, others really don’t.
Alternatively, what if Anakin Skywalker was never found by the Jedi Order and instead had to make his way through the nit and grit of Tatooine and the Outer Rim territories. How would the Chosen One come to fulfill his prophesied role then? What other changes would’ve incurred in the Galaxy?

Summary
A mission with his former Master sounds like a nice change of pace after an endless siege of a rainy, muddy, humid planet. Pulling a fast one on spice runners sounds even better. This is a mission designed for Anakin.
Until he's locked in a small space with Obi-Wan and going into rut. That would throw a wrench in the best made plans, and theirs is more of a rough outline.

Summary
Obi-Wan’s chest ached. “How long?”
“Does it matter?”
“How long, Anakin?”
A long, shuddering pause. “Two weeks ago, I stopped seeing colors. Three days ago, I stopped seeing shapes. Now I just…” He gestured vaguely at the space where Obi-Wan was. “Shadows. Light. Yours is brighter than the rest. It always has been.” His voice dropped to a whisper. “That’s how I knew you were here. You shouldn’t—” Anakin’s voice was wrecked. “You shouldn’t be here. You should stay away—”
“I’m not leaving.”
