Summary
Maxine is a single mother to seven boys, and she always does her best to take care of them. She's told herself she's tired of those guys who up and leave her; she's not looking for that anymore.
Then she meets a mysterious Frenchman during her restaurant shift, and he teaches her that maybe, just maybe, she's worth staying for. But, as it is with everything, it seems too good to be true. Memories and figures from her criminal past return to haunt her, and she must navigate romance, motherhood, and danger all at once.
