Summary
Luffy gathered Law into his arms, held him close to his chest. He looked up at the battle around him, at the thing that killed his Law, and he screamed.
The world would forget about this place, the island that would be called the Great Kingdom. They would forget about the people, the accomplishments, and they would forget that the Sun God destroyed everything in his path in his grief.
Or: Luffy is the Sun God and fell in love with the human Law. Even death will not do them part.

Summary
“Have faith, Death,” the King said. His voice was hallowed, dead because that’s what the god was. All that was left of the Sun God was his soul, and soon that would slip away too. “Have faith.”
“In a dead man?” Law questioned.
The God tilted his head, a secretive lift to his lips and his eyes seemed to glow even brighter, “Perhaps.”
Or: Law, God of Death, was fine with staying in the underworld if it meant everyone around him would live. However, with the death of the King of the Gods, he leaves his realm to fight. He meets people along the way.

Shanks smiles, turning to take a proper look at the kid at his side and, for some reason, immediately knows, barking out a laugh, he asks: “So, you are one of those?”
“Those?” The kid that’s not exactly a kid blinks at him and Shanks can’t help the laughter that overcomes him. “What are you laughing at!?”
Shanks laughs harder.
Or, Shanks meets a young god.
