Bryony had abandoned Phil for a pretty girl at the bar, which meant he was now sitting alone in what used to be their booth. It’d be easy to be annoyed. And he is, kinda. But more than anything, Phil figures he’s just… lonely. This crowded club is packed with people, and he feels so fucking lonely sitting in his booth and sipping his cocktail.
