Of all the things Lando Norris is, there is one thing he is not: he is not the Pack Omega. Which is fine – he will, quite happily, leave all the pack drama and bullshit to Max. He does not need to be the one dealing with that, thank you very much.
Which is precisely why, on the Tuesday morning following the Chinese GP, Lando finds himself in a situation for which he was not even remotely prepared. Clearly, whoever thought it was a good idea to bring five rookies onto the grid this season (six, if you count Liam) was not an omega – or a beta, for that matter.
Only an alpha would be that asinine.
