Summary
After taking a most needed rest and helping the young Kingdom of Casmeran to recover from the Lantern King schemes, Damakas and his brother Dallyk yearned to take their sister's ashes to her hometown : Kenabres. Despite everything they've been throught during they stay in the Stolen Lands, they don't feel so confident about going so close to the Worldwound, unlike their witchy friend Valera.
But when the Storyteller announces to the young Queen that he's leaving his service to travel to this most dangerous region, the tiefling brothers take this for a sign and the group decides to escort the old elf. As they get closer to Kenabres, they ends up joining other groups until the two brothers sense an almost demonic presence among the people around them. When the source of this sensation, a woman, tries to slip away when the city is finally in sight, the two Hellspawns separate from the group to follow her. They end up finding her, alone, with her back to them, and in the middle of nowhere. They realize too late that it's a trap, the last thing Damakas sees as he succumbs to a magical sleep being his brother rushing to him...
