Summary
This was altogether a terrible idea. Dredd knew this already. It still wasn’t stopping him from doing it, though.

Summary
Anderson still wasn’t sure what had initially prompted the idea, but all she knew now was that it had been a bad one (relatively speaking). She was half a block from where she had parked her Lawmaster, almost knee-deep in snow and starting to feel the chill of it creep into her bones. On top of these things, Judge Dredd was hunting her.

Summary
Anderson hated the locker rooms. In fact, she avoided them at all costs on most days. The usual crush of too many high-strung Judges overwhelmed her, emotions rampant despite cool expressions. It was only necessity that had brought her in today; Dredd had called in a ten-twenty-four on his last case of the day and skipped out on the medical ward (totally typical), but when Anderson had shown up to check on him at his apartment he wasn’t home.

Summary
It was too much for him; he couldn’t breathe and he was on /fire/. It felt like there was gasoline in his veins and Anderson was doing a damn good job of striking the match.

“Dredd,” she whispered, yanking her gloves off her hands and grabbing her med kit, “Your helmet has to come off or I can’t get to the wounds.” He grunted and swatted her hands away as she reached for him.

Six percent per day was never an acceptable amount, but it was the best that they could manage. At least, that’s what she was telling herself. To make a difference, she had told Dredd the day they had met. That was why she had pushed on to become a Judge.

Summary
"You look like you've seen better days, Rookie."
She wheezed out a laughed, blinked the grit away in her eyes. "Yeah," she agreed, wincing as he applied a pressure bandage to her side. Fire lanced through her, almost worse than the initial bullet itself. "Perps?" she questioned, saw his frown deepen as he applied the field dressing and the medical gel to seal the wound.
"Backup is inbound to deal with them. Judge in distress takes priority."
