Summary
Greektown's heart is where Athens Street and Sparta Avenue intersect. Not unlike their historical namesakes, the residents on these streets seem to have a rivalry with one another, although rather than killing each other, they play intense games of pool or foosball at the Adrestia (loser has to buy winner a plate of hot wings).
The Lakonia Diner sits on Sparta Avenue, and the Nikolaidis family have been running it as long as Greektown's been a thing. When an entertainment business buys up the abandoned grocery store and apartment complex across the street with the intent to turn it into a massive club called Kosmos, Kassandra and Alexios not only have to deal with the changes it brings to the neighborhood, but their own family ridiculousness and their personal lives, which are already weird enough.

Alexios était un homme têtu et quand il avait quelque chose en tête, il n'abandonnait pas aisément. Alors quand après avoir sauvé sa sœur des griffes du culte de Kosmos, il décide de retrouver Thalétas le général spartiate dont il est tombé amoureux sur les îles d'argent et qu'il a dû quitter pour sauver le monde grec, il ne laissera rien ni personne l'arrêter, ni se mettre entre lui et son futur bonheur. Pas même Sparte.
"Mais en retournant à Sparte, il avait fait un compromis. Il revenait à Sparte, et Sparte pouvait avoir sa vie, il se battrait pour elle, mourait pour elle. Mais en retour, il voulait le cœur de Thalétas. Alors si son cœur appartenait toujours à Sparte, Alexios avait bien l’intention de conquérir Sparte pour lui disputer le cœur de son général."

On the bright side, when Stentor started cycling through what he told her was the very basics of beginner combat in the agoge, Nikolaos’ eyes fell back to the two of them instead of the mountain. Privately, Phoibe thought maybe that he couldn’t to go up, even if he wanted to; Kass, after all, had told her what he’d done. Maybe that was a confrontation best held on solid ground.
“Watch your left, Phoibe,” the man said from his seat on the doorsteps. Doing so made her lose track of the right side, and Stentor swept her legs out from under her.
She scowled up at the sky. “How am I supposed to watch two sides if I only have one stick?”
