Summary
Every night when he’s alone in bed, Awsten starts to think about the night he told Otto about his acceptance. It’s like clockwork; the worst night of his life on repeat over and over.
He and Otto haven’t talked since that night in the spring, the summer passing by at a snail’s pace without him. The band was unofficially over, but Awsten tried to look on the bright side of that. It would have been over when he left for school anyways. It was better to rip the band aid off sooner rather than later, right?
