Summary
It's been a decade since you last saw your husband. Ten long years of uncertainty and loss. He was taken from you, sentenced to be exterminated. And the news of his death doesn't register in your mind for a very long time.
You exhausted every possible ways to find him, not believing his death is real, denying it vehemently, but after five fruitless years, you had to accept that he was truly gone. There was nothing more you could do.
Since then, you've buried yourself in your work as a field scientist, hoping to fill the void and forget the loneliness that now defines your life. The only person who ever truly cared for you is gone, and you are left to navigate the world alone.
Life, in its relentless unpredictability, suddenly transfers you to Hadal Blacksite, an underwater facility, in response to an emergency. This facility is dedicated to extensive research on underwater creatures, a field far removed from your expertise.
Thrown into this unfamiliar environment, you focus on following orders, trying to adapt to your new reality.
